CHAPTER THREE

"Al you walk very fast, can you slower?" said Axel who half ran while aligning his steps with Alicia.

Alicia, who was still lost in her thoughts, was awakened by the touch of Axel's hand on Alicia's shoulder.

"You didn't wait for me to finish the meeting earlier, instead you just went straight away..." Alicia said, mixed with an annoyed expression.

Axel laughed "Well I just picked up the phone from my daddy first, I'm sorry, don't be angry anymore hehehe, the important thing is I arrived on time" with an apologetic face to Alicia.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, let's eat, I'm really hungry" Alicia said while entering Axel's car in the basement.

-Flashback On-

You can see young girls in high school uniforms with wavy hair running along the school corridors while carrying 2 drinks near the basketball court. The teenager's eyes are still focused on a teenage boy who is playing basketball with his friends. Suddenly Alicia's steps stopped while sharpening her eyes that what she saw was not wrong.

Dave stepped into the audience seats sitting next to Amanda and pulled her onto the basketball court announcing "Friends, pay attention for a moment, starting today, don't ever approach or disturb Amanda, because she will deal with me."

Friends who heard immediately cheered and commented how harmonious the two lovebirds were. There are also those who comment on how sorry Alicia likes Dave. One school finds out that Alicia has a crush on Dave, because her overly attention-grabbing behavior is chasing Dave.

Alicia who heard it immediately shouted "DAVE!!" and ran onto the field pulling Dave and Amanda's hands loosely. This of course attracted attention and turned their eyes to Alicia and waited for what Alicia would do.

"What do you mean Dave?!" while looking sharp and fixed in Dave's eyes. Alicia approached Amanda and pushed her down "Get away from Dave, bitch!". Friends who saw and heard it, some cheered excitedly supporting Alicia's actions, some were surprised to open their eyes because they didn't expect Alicia to say something like that.

Dave who heard him pushed Alicia, luckily Alicia was able to hold her balance so she didn't fall. Dave raised Amanda's body by holding her shoulders and bringing their bodies closer. With an angry face and sharp eyes looking at Alicia "Don't you realize that you are such a bitch!"

"Even this school knows that you, who are always chasing me, act like a bitch to get my attention. Just so you know, I never even wanted to be close to that dirty you, if it weren't for our family's good relations.

After saying that, Dave wanted to turn around to leave, but suddenly he was hit in the face by a fist from Axel who had been watching the interactions of the three people who were the center of attention of everyone on the field.

"FUCK!!" while hitting Dave's face again until Dave fell and pointed at Dave's face "You!..". Axel's words were cut off because Alicia suddenly looked at Dave's face.

"Dave you know, this morning I have made up my mind to make a decision whether I will give up or keep pursuing you. After the words you said earlier, it confirmed my decision that you are not worthy of my love. It's a waste of my time to like a jerk like you". Alicia immediately walked away by holding Axel's hand "Come on Axel, just leave those two losers alone".

Friends who saw her supported Alicia's decision, because they themselves knew Alicia's struggle to chase the man. So pointless and unrequited.

After arriving at Maximo's residence, Alicia immediately burst into tears in Axel's arms. Mama Laura, Alicia's mother, who saw her daughter had just come home and immediately cried, became worried about what had happened at her daughter's school to cause her daughter to be like that.

"Al, why? Were you bullied at school?" Alicia immediately faced her mother and buried her face in her mother's arms. "Mom, I'm tired. Can I move schools abroad Mom? I don't want to see or meet Dave again..please Mom." Alicia whispered while sobbing.

Laura could immediately conclude from her daughter's words. The last time Laura cried like this was because Dave was her best friend's son when they were in elementary school. It was from there that Alicia innocently told her feelings about Dave do not liking her.
