My Baby Natsu

MBN - Chapter 7

Lucy's POV.

I brushed my hair with a hairbrush after taking a long bath. I wanna chill myself up. I keep thinking what Lisanna just said a few minutes ago.

"Natsu...he may not last long if he didn't get changed to his original self."

I was shocked when I heard what Lisanna just said. Natsu as a child is a good thing too but hearing that he may not last long made me terrified.

"According to my research with Levy , he will dissapeared in another 2 months from now on. So , we better be more faster to search the witch. "

I clenched my fists hard until it turned almost white. I bite my lower lips. I must find the witch. I can't bear seeing him dissapearred infront of me. I didn't wish for it , no one ever wish for his ......death.

Without knowing myself, tears began pouring down my cheeks. Who will be the one to save me? Who will be the one to help me?

Of course it's Natsu that I depend on all this time. Because I trust that he can did the best for all of us , all of the guild. Something about him seems different than any guys I ever met. Something....that's so

Enchanting to me.

I sighed. Tomorrow , there will be a searched at Mount. Kabuya Flowns. I'll be heading there with Erza, Gray , Wendy and Gajeel along with Happy and Charles. I hope there is the witch's hiding place.

I didn't even remember her face , nor what happen during the witch's escape. All I ever know is that the witch's presences is infront of me when the curtains were pushed.

Wait....

The witch's presence was infront of me? But , the one infront of me during that time was only the small Natsu , lying on the floor. What the hell? What happened?

My head hurts like hell. It's just so blurry to me. I wonder why....

"Lucy-san....?"

I turned around to see Natsu looked at me worringly. I smiled wryly at him. He took steps closer to me before standing 1 meter away.

"Can I ask you a question, Lucy-san?" Natsu said as he stared at me. Our eyes met and I can see a tint of sadness in his eyes.

"Yes, Natsu. What's wrong?" I smiled at him and quickly wiped the tears that fall out of my eyes.

"Why do you always look sad and sigh? I heard Juvia and Erza talked about it. They said that before I came , you were always happy and cheery."

I was shocked at his questions. "I-I..... I c-can't t-tell you....N-Natsu..."

"It's because.........of me right?"

I looked towards him. I can't see his eyes because of his pink bangs that covered his eyes. He clenched his fist. Oh no...... I have a feeling that I really don't like this.

"N-No! It wasn't! It wasn't you!" I tried explaining at him. I took a step closer to him but he steps back away from me.

"Really? So can you explain why you're sad after I came? I know I see you smile Lucy-san. But that's not a real smile , it's faked. I've seen it."

"N-No , you're mistaken Nats--"

"Damn it! I should've not messed up in your life , Lucy-san. If you really don't like my presence , just say it so! You don't--"

"No! You've taken it wro--"

"I don't care what you want to say! It's all a lie! The treat you gave me. A lie! I tried to make you happy but all I see is a FAKE SMILE! And I thought you loved me , but you don't!"

"NATSU!"

I watched as Natsu ran outside the apartment to who knows where. I tried to chase him back but my body feels heavy and I just can't stand.

I fall down the floor. Tears began pouring down again.

"What did I just do?"

I tried standing up , not caring about my large headache. I ran out of the apartment and went on a search to find my Natsu.
