My Baby Natsu

MBN - Chapter 17

"Natsu......"

What was that voice?

"....please wake up..."

What?

"...... I've missed you.."

"Princess, it's time for you to wake up." I groaned loudly, squirming myself as I clutched in deeper into my pink blanket. "No , let me sleep all day. I'm tired and soo messed up right now so you can leave me alone." I said as I started to drifted back to my sleep. I felt my blanket being tugged by someone and that someone is definitely Virgo. I groaned loudly. "Stay away , Virgo. I warned you. I need to be alone !"

I heard a shuffling sound. I ignored the sound and continue my beauty sleep in this precious bed of mine. Hmm... that's a very beautiful garden... maybe I can just live here.. with no trouble and full of fairies that looked like Natsu...w-wait Natsu?

"Lucy-nee!!! I'm hungwy!!!" I groaned and sighed. How can I forget that I'm actually babysitting Natsu right now? I heard Natsu yelling something at me but I didn't get most of the part... No I didn't hear it at all because I'm busy covering my ears with two pair of hands. Many things had happened during this past weeks. I clearly didn't remember how long it has been since Natsu became a child. Two weeks ? No , maybe more? With the witch gone and no cure to Natsu's current condition-- which he had a nightmare every night that made me wake up late night just to say sweet things to have him sleep back.

I felt someone poked me from behind. I turned around to see Natsu with Virgo saying something to me. Well , I have no interest in hearing what they were saying. I want some peace for a moment. I just need a day to catch my breath. I really need it.

I stood up from the bed , finally letting go of my ears. I yawned loudly before patting Natsu's head while smiling. "Good morning , Natsu. Let me take a minute to have a bath. Maybe longer but I will make your favourite extra spicy chicken and all you need is to stay calm." The frown that plastered all over his face changed into a cute grin after I said that. He nodded happily before racing towards a red leather loveseat and sat on it in patient. I giggled before going to the bathroom for a nice bath.

After the nice , hot bath and dressed myself up in pink crop top with blue short skirt jeans paired with a pair of brown sandals , I went to prepare a cereal for me and of course Natsu's favourite extra spicy chicken. I learned the recipe from a 50-year old woman while searching for the witch back in Fosterwood. We stayed there for nearly three weeks but found nothing and we finally decided to end the search while Levy and her gang made another research on several locations. Gajeel and Lily volunteered to help them while the rest of us act normal for Natsu. We really didn't need him to know about the situation. I learned from Lisanna that Natsu was naturally reckless from the beginning so you can imagined what happened if he knows.... terrible.

A lot has happened during one full month--which I just checked on my way to the small kitchen on my home. According to Levy , Natsu has one more month before he became a child forever and once he does , he will slowly dissapear into the darkest realm in the world. Some may say a black hole or more precisely hell because of the dark spell casted by the witch. Or maybe it's the witch herself in him which turned him into a child.

"Lucy-nee ! Can I have my spiwcy chicwen now ?" I snapped my head towards Natsu as he sat on the loveseat impatiently , eyeing his favourite food that is in my hands with his onyx orbs while his hands were gripping the handle tightly. I laughed at his attempt to be patient for the food. I remember that one time when he suddenly blast through the kitchen and gobbled up all the chicked , leaving a huge mess in here while of course I was terribly mad at him so he swore never to do it again with him bowing his head numerous times. Pffttt.. idiotic Natsu.

I stopped laughed when he started groaning loudly. I giggled before placing the plate on top of the dining table. "Come , eat your favourite extra spicy chicken Natsu. Don't--" I didn't even finished as he started racing to the dining table and eating up his food , less reckless I guess? I sighed at him. This Natsu is never going to change. "Natsu , cleaned up after this ok?" I saw him nodded while grinning his stuffed mouth at me. I giggled before sitting across him while eating my cereal.

I began thinking about the latest thoughts that have been on my head about five minutes ago. How can we changed Natsu back if the witch was nowhere to be seen? As if the witch itself was non-existed in this world. Bad things happen after one month. One of it was Carla , the exceed having bad vision of the witch with a book. I don't know what book it is but I'm sure it has somekind of secret underneath it , something that can actually be a clue to where she had been. I stood from the dining chair and walked towards my bookshelf. I began searching for a book. A book that maybe , maybe I have the book all this long. I just didn't see it all this long.

"Lucy-nee, what's wrong?" Natsu said as he turned around to see me. I continued on the task I have in hand instead of looking at Natsu. I began pulling some books that may have the information on the witch. My hand suddenly stop at Natsu's first interesting book and took it.I eyed it deeply as I watched the gold coloured title by the book , The Book of Xen-Xia . I don't know why he likes the book himself but almost everyday he went to my bookshelf and read the contents in it. Fascinating by it.

Why don't you read it? My inner thoughts said.

Wait--are you kidding? It's maybe just a super killer with fighting actions that just sparks his interest.

Are you sure? Maybe the contents of the book have something to do with the witch's whereabouts. Now my inner thoughts were smarter than me.

'You know what? Thanks inner Lucy's thoughts.' I said as I started to smile while opening up the book and started reading all the necessary things that might lead to who or where the witch is. With Levy searching on several locations about the witch , the information gathered may be enough. Though we still don't know if she will find it or not. But may good things faces us and bad things go away. I glanced over Natsu as he tilted his head confusingly. I giggled at his another attempt to understand me. I continued on reading the book as a thought run over my head.

Don't worry Natsu... You'll be safe soon.

And without that , a smile and a whisper come out of my lips.

"Let the hunt begins"
