Mission 3: The Mysterious Kamen Rider, Chamber

It has been a few days since Izuku's encounter with Akira as Overdrive Nomu. He is currently brushing his teeth and getting ready in the bathroom. It's been surprisingly quiet since that fight, and Izuku is happy to use that time to collect his thoughts about the new revelations he faced during his battles with Overdrive Nomu. 

It even led to him gaining a new hobby. 

After brushing his teeth and getting dressed, Izuku pulls out his phone and starts recording himself.

"H-hi, everyone. Or, well, future me, or whoever finds this, it's me again. Here's day two of my video diary. I'm still getting used to learning about the pressure pro heroes have to deal with and public opinion shifting. It's just not what I expected as a kid." Izuku says into the recording with a nervous smile on his face.

After that day, his mother recommended that he make a diary to help him release his thoughts without muttering them. However, Izuku chose to do a video diary instead of a conventional journal.

"S-so yeah. Hopefully, I'll be able to adapt to it soon, and there will be no more surprises in store for me. I still don't really understand why dad chose me to wield the Hero Driver when I haven't even completed a year of hero training. But I trust him. I'm sure he knows what he's doing and did choose me for more than just familial ties." Izuku explains in the video before ending the recording and exiting the bathroom.

As he enters the living room, he sees a news broadcast with Mr. Ichibangase and Akira Ichibangase's faces, along with other members of their family.

"And investigators are still investigating the claims against Ichibangase Riku by his son Ichibangase Akira, better known as the latest Nomu to appear dubbed Overdrive Nomu. This investigation is being treated seriously due to the involvement of the number one hero, All Might." The news broadcaster explains before the screen takes away the family's images except for Akira's and pulls up a picture of his Nomu form.

"In related news, like the rest of these new-type villains, Ichibangase Akira has no memory of how he became a Nomu. Multiple types of interrogation have been used on the willing Ichibangase Akira, but the police and heroes have still yet to find anything on whoever is making these Nomu." The news broadcaster states.

That news seems to worry Izuku, especially after Hisashi groans when he hears it.

"Still nothing. I have to hand it to them. Whoever is doing this knows how to cover their tracks." Hisashi grunts in annoyance as he clicks his teeth and rubs the back of his head in frustration.

"Should I be worried about that?" Izuku asks his father with an uncertain expression.

His father looks back at him and sighs while shrugging.

"Probably. While we made the Hero Driver to combat the Nomu, it's more of a temporary solution if we can't figure out who the dealer is. But it shouldn't become a problem for a while, especially since you get stronger after every battle." Hisashi tells his son.

Izuku accepts his father's words and sits at the table for breakfast.

"So, how is your diary going?" Inko asks her son curiously as she passes him breakfast.

Izuku blushes slightly and rubs the back of his head awkwardly.

"It feels odd consciously talking to myself. But I feel like it's helped." Izuku tells his mom, who smirks slightly at Hisashi and says.

"I knew it would help. Having a way to release your feelings can do wonders for your stress." Inko nods in satisfaction at her son's words as Hisashi sighs.

"Just make sure that no one sees that if you're going to talk about your life as a Kamen Rider," Hisashi warns his son while taking a bite of his breakfast.
