Today is when the duel between Chamber and K.E.M. is supposed to happen. Currently, Shiki is sitting in his living room looking over his Power Coin collection and thinking about the different possibilities with each. As he does, he hears a sudden knock at his door. He quickly inspects his apartment to ensure everything is clean before opening the door to see a nervous Izuku fidgeting behind it.
"Hi, Midoriya. Do you need something?" Shiki asks curiously.
"I was hoping I could help you work on your strategy to beat Kac-Bakugou," Izuku explains, cutting himself off as he's about to say his old friend's nickname. Habits are hard to break.
Shiki blinks at him in surprise before letting Midoriya in and shows him to the table where his Power Coins are.
"So, what strategies are you thinking about to beat him now?" Midoriya asks curiously.
"So far, I'm thinking of trying out one of the new Power Coins I got from those Nomu. It let Terra Swoop deflect my bullets and make them hit him." Shiki explains as he raises the Deflection Power Coin.
"Do you think that will work against his explosions? Bakugou fights at close range only. It might not work against his attacks because of that." Izuku warns him, causing Shiki to think about it before nodding in understanding and setting the Power Coin down.
"The Sprouting Power Coin managed to hold him in place for a while. I might be able to use that." Shiki says while lifting the Power Coin.
Izuku is surprised to hear that due to the advantage explosions have on plants. However, he soon remembers the video of Chamber and K.E.M. fighting and nods.
"The Dragonfly Power Coin has always worked before. Your shots become so unpredictable that they can't block or dodge everything." Izuku says as he raises another Power Coin.
Shiki nods in agreement, and the two keep discussing the Power Coins Shiki has and what he may be able to use while fighting against K.E.M. Eventually, they even start talking about Izuku's different Power Coins and possible trades they could do. As the conversation continues, Izuku's mood improves, enjoying talking about Quirks with someone else.

While Shiki and Izuku plan everything, Katsuki sits in his room, staring at the Hero Driver and Explosion Power Coin. For once, he's silent. All he's doing is looking at the items while remembering everything Shiki has done against him.
He remembers their first confrontation and how he crushed the other Kamen Rider. Then he remembers getting shot as he's about to destroy the Power Coins. He then thinks about their last confrontation. Despite not wanting to admit it, that fight was still fresh in his mind. Specifically, how Shiki managed to hold him in place and could have attacked him if he wasn't just trying to calm Katsuki down.
"There's no way that bastard is stronger than me. He just got lucky. I won't let him catch me off guard this time." Katsuki growls.
He refuses to believe someone is strong enough to fight him and win. No one has ever done that before. Even kids older than him while growing up. He's always been at the top physically and with grades. With those thoughts in mind, Katsuki promises to put Shiki in his place today, no matter what it takes.
"You're dead meat, Pompadour." He mutters with an intense look in his eyes.
