In a meeting room separate from the one the Meta Liberation Army's executives talked in before, everyone but Re-Destro is sitting together because of Skeptic's emergency call.
"What's so important that you called us here but not the Grand Commander, Skeptic?" Trumpet asks calmly while Curious gives the lanky man a dangerous smile.
"This better not be some a coup discussion. It would make a good scoop for the warriors, though. In-fighting among the executives, one got too confident." She states while making a square with her hands and looking at Skeptic through it.
Hearing this causes Skeptic to scoff at them. He then speaks in a stern yet condescending manner that convenes his annoyance with the two.
"Obviously not. I don't know why Re-Destro keeps you two around if you can't figure out why this meeting is so important." Skeptic says before playing the video of Re-Destro's confrontation with Giran for the other two to see.
When they watch the video, Trumpet's eyes narrow while Curious' smile seems to become more dangerous than before. Seeing this reaction, Skeptic nods.
"I'm glad you fools finally see the problem, and I don't have to explain it." He grunts at the two.
"So, do you already know who this person is? And I mean besides how he works for our sponsor and seems to have control of his Nomu form." Trumpet clarifies before Skeptic can say anything, rolling his eyes slightly as he does so.
"He's known as Giran." Surprisingly, it wasn't Skeptic who said this but Curious, having recognized him instantly.
"I'm glad at least one of you won't ask stupid questions," Skeptic mutters as he and Trumpet look toward Curious.
The only female executive smiles at her friends and co-workers before explaining what she knows.
"Giran is a former underground broker who disappeared some years ago. Many thought he was dead. It would seem he was the person I met but had no recollection of his face." Curious explains to the two calmly.
"So, his disappearance must relate to the Nomu. Judging by his background, I guess he's the one who's been dealing the Nomu Coins out for all these years. It's impressive that he's done this without getting caught for so long. It's also amazing that you were the first to get substantial evidence against him, Skeptic." Trumpet compliments his ally with a smile.
"I don't need your empty compliments. Everything you said is obvious to anyone paying attention. We need to focus on how we deal with him." Skeptic says in irritation.
"Then what's your plan?" Curious asks as she rests her head on one of her hands.
"So far, I've considered taking advantage of Re-Destro's plan to give the returned Proto Driver to Geten. We could have him fight against Giran and see how well that goes." Skeptic states.
"That's a hazardous plan, Skeptic. Judging by the video, Giran is strong, and there's no guarantee that Geten could handle him. We also don't know what might happen if the Proto Driver is used against them." Trumpet pokes holes in Skeptic's poor plan, causing the other executive to scowl.
"Of course, I know that. I brought you two here to help me develop something better. If we don't, that bastard will keep using and attacking Re-Destro." Skeptic tells him.
Hearing this causes the other two to nod. However, none of the three can think of a sound way to handle Giran. Not many in the army can survive a confrontation against Re-Destro. But Giran dealt with the force from his attack like they were nothing in the video. Even if Re-Destro didn't take the man seriously, that's still a massive feat to the executives.
