In the morning, after Izuku and Shiki's many encounters, Izuku lies exhaustedly in his bed. Yesterday's events were still fresh in his mind and body. Because of that, he's still feeling exhausted and hasn't woken up like usual.

-------------------

Toshinori watches as the two Kamen Riders detransform before falling onto their butts in exhaustion.

"My body is killing me." Shiki groans as he rubs the more sore areas of his body with his arm.

"Ahh, why am I so sore? I wasn't like this earlier, even after Kacchan's attack." Izuku groans as he holds his sides.

Eventually, both collapse onto their backs in pain, and Toshinori is about to run toward them when Hisashi arrives downstairs.

"Aw crap, it looks like you two hit your limit," Hisashi says as he helps Izuku up and lets him lean against his body.

"Limit?" Izuku questions.

"Chapter two of the manual I gave you. Continuous use of the device can cause a strain on our bodies. Plus, we were beaten to pulps earlier. So that doesn't help with the side effects." Shiki explains as he shakily tries to stand up as well.

Toshinori watches the two and decides to make a move by rushing over to Shiki and helping him up.

"Are you alright, young man?" Toshinori asks in a worried tone.

The three look at Toshinori in surprise, but he waves their worries away before they can ask anything.

"Don't worry. I didn't see anything," Toshinori states while looking into Hisashi's eyes, causing the other man to nod.

"Right, you didn't see anything. Now, let's get these two somewhere where they can rest." Hisashi tells him as he leads the group toward his family's apartment.

"I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer before I can talk to them." Toshinori thinks to himself as he helps Shiki up the stairs.

-------------------

As Izuku sleeps, someone walks into his room. The person casually walks toward the sleeping boy, not even bothering to try and be stealthy, and peers down at him.

Shiki looks at Izuku for a few seconds as if contemplating something, then raises a hand and smacks him awake.

"AHHH!" Izuku screams in a panic as he sits up to see who's attacking him.

When he sees a blank-faced Shiki standing there with his arm positioned like it'd been swung, he realizes what happened.

"Why did you do that?" Izuku groans while looking at the other teen.

"Your mother made breakfast and said to wake you up," Shiki states calmly.

"That doesn't answer my question." Izuku points out while holding his cheek.

"When Grandpa stays at my apartment after falling asleep while visiting me, he often won't wake up despite needing to head back to work soon. So, I have to use force to do that. I figured the same method would apply here since we both went through a horrible day." Shiki states with a proud glint in his eyes. He makes a slapping motion while explaining his situation with his grandpa.

"Couldn't you have tried waking me up first? I'm usually a light sleeper." Izuku tells Shiki while holding his cheek.

"Sorry, I'll try not to do it again if I end up staying over again," Shiki tells him apologetically while keeping a neutral expression.
