Brooklyn Davis

"Izzy, how did you know I was here?" I ask getting up and walking over to her. Izzy was about my height with dirty blond short wavy hair and hazel eyes.
"Is there-," I cover her mouth before she can say anything else. "Don't say anything. Okay?" I asked as firmly as I could where she would understand. She nodded and I sighed and removed my hand from her mouth.
Izzy has been my best friend since we were younger. We didn't always go to the same school, but since 5 years ago we have. Our parents were friends before we were born.
"Hi," Izzy said shyly. I rolled my eyes at her shyness and looked at her with a look that said she was faking it, and I knew it. "Ugh, fine. Hi, my name is Izzy. Izzy Miller," there is the girl I know. "Well Hi, nice to meet you. I'm-,'''' I already know who you are," Izzy said, cutting him off and rolling her eyes at him. I mean I don't blame her. Did he not know that every single person at this school knew who he was? Or were we right below his radar of popularity?
"Okay, well nice chat. I'm just going to steal her if you don't mind?" said Izzy, grabbing my arm and slowly pulling me away. "Umm, sure. Brooklyn. Blink twice if you need help." he said looking at me with a goofy smile that made me laugh. "Well see you later I guess," I said walking away and doing a small salute with my first two fingers.
Izzy pulled me faster making me trip on the wet stairs from the morning dew. "Okay, what?" I asked stopping so she would not end up dragging me to the ground. "Why were you all cuddly with Liam?" She asked with a look that dripped with confusion and firmness. "It was nothing. I just got upset and he came over to me and hugged me. That's all," I said, looking at the ground trying to avoid her eyes.
"Brook. Look at me so I know you're lying," Ugh. Sometimes having a friend that knows everything about you is not always helpful.
"Fine. I was drawing and my mind went back to when I found out about my nightmare disorder. And, dad. Then he came up behind me and saw that I was crying. Then he hugged me and let me cry until I stopped. That is all okay?" I said looking her in the eyes so she would lay off. She just stared at me thinking for a while until she relaxed. "Okay. If that is all, then I will let it go. For now," she said, uncrossing her arms. Oh, good lord.
"Thank you, can we just go to class now?" I asked starting to walk carefully back down the bleachers to grab my stuff. While Izzy jumped down on the seats without care. She could give me so much anxiety.
"I guess so. We have class in 10 minutes anyway," "What! Are you serious? How long was I out here?" I asked stopping in my tracks. "Well, when did you get here?" She asked me, helping me grab my stuff and put it in my bag.
"I don't know. I think I got here at seven," I said walking the rest of the way to her. But she stopped what she was doing and froze. "What?" I asked, walking towards her. She looked up at me with worry in her eyes. "Brook. It is eight twenty. You have been out here for an hour and 20 minutes,"
