Brooklyn Davis
————————————————————
Walking into the cafeteria, Carter immediately walks up to me so I can't ignore him like I did last time."Why didn't you talk to me yesterday?" he asked, standing in front of me. "I never promised anything to you," I saw trying to walk around, but he grabs my arm, stopping me. I twist my arm around so he is forced to let go, and take a step back.
"You should know that in this life your word means everything. You break it and there are consequences," he says slowly and harshly.
"Fine then. What do you want?" I ask, crossing my arms. "I want to warn you," "About?" I ask, getting impatient. "There is a new guy coming to this school. We don't know when but he is dangerous and he is here because of you," he says searching my face for a reaction.
Who is this guy that everyone keeps warning me about? What does he want with me? Wonderful, more questions that won't get answered. "What do you want me to do about it?" I ask him, starting to worry a little more. "All I ask is that you try your best to stay away from him. If something happens, tell me, Liam, or Eric, immediately,"
"Why do I need to tell you? I can handle it myself," I say, trying to end this conversation. "I am well aware of you being able to defend yourself. I'm more worried about the fact that he is trying to start shit,"
He seems genuine. I'm not sure if I could believe him though. "How do you want me to tell you? If something happens in class do you want me to just walk out and find one of you?"
"No just text or call one of us. Purfubly all three," he says laughing. I raise one brow sending the message of I'm not in the mood. "Could you get to the point?" I ask.
"All of our numbers have already been loaded into your phone. Promise me you will do it," he says firmly. "Fine, I promise," I say rolling my eyes. "Remember how much your word means," he says walking away.
The anticipation for this new guy arriving is going to make this day go on forever.

Mr.Gray is making us take notes on algebra when the intercom dings. "Mr.Gray?" a female voice says over the intercom. "Yes?" "Can I please see Brooklyn Davis in the front office?" I look up from what I'm doing and make eye contact with Izzy who is stinging two seats away from me.
She shrugs. Then she stage whispers to me "Text me," I nod my head at her, and walk out the door. Once I'm down the hall for a while, I take out my phone and open a text message from Izzy.
Izzy: Why did you get called to the office?
Me: I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine.
Izzy: Okay let me know what happens.
