The others made sounds of acknowledgement. Cielo motioned for them to sit down. A few female servants came forward, after bowing they started serving the group tea, juice, and snacks. The servants stood to the side and the group started eating.

The meal passed silently but the atmosphere was not awkward. After they were done the servants cleared the table, served each of them a milkshake then dismissed themselves.

Cielo placed his napkin down, " How many groups of demons did you get rid of this time?"

" After you assigned us each a continent, after choosing to protect Asia yourself, we all went and got rid of those on the continent we were in charge of. I chose Australia. Hayato and Lambo chose Europe."

" The pineapple chose North America. Nagi, Bianchi, and Futta went to South America. Ryohei ran to Africa, and Antarctica was left to Takeshi.", Kyoya gave a quick report, at the same time not forgetting to call certain people names.

" What was that skylark?!", Mukuro shot back. The others didn't comment but started on the treat in front of them. The two carried on for a while before Cielo interrupted by asking, " What about the Arcobalenos and heirs?"

Hayato was more than happy to put an end to the stupid exchange so he answered, " The Sun Arcobaleno came with Lambo and myself. The Mist went with Mukuro, the Rain went with Ryohei, and the cloud went with Takeshi. The storm and Lightning was assigned to protect their Sky Queen Aria. Yuni didn't need protection after all she ran to join her Fiancee (Byakuran)."

Takeshi picked up where he left off, " Speaking of the heirs Byakuran and his guardians were in Asia. Xanxus and his guardians covered North and South America. Enma and his guardians were in Africa and Europe. Dino and his protectors were sent to Antarctica, and Leymitsu and his guardians were sent to Australia, Ieyoshi was also with him."

" You all did good. As a reward you all get a week off to visit those outside. The preparations are all made for their accomodations, so you can bring them all back to the Supreme realm. In this week I will be visiting the human Kingdoms to set up portals for civilians during the war.", Cielo commented.

" Thank you Cielo.", they said together. They got up to leave.

" When you are outside keep in mind your titles. You are all Princes and Princesses. Your behavior and decision should leave a positive impact worthy of the title since you are all my guardians."

" This does not mean I don't agree with choices you make, you all have my full support no matter what. You bow to no one, because you are not beneath them. Those Kings are just that, while I am the emperor and I protect their small Kingdoms because they are within my empire, my realm connects all. Do you understand?", Cielo was firm when he told them this.

They were all in tacit understanding as they replied as one, " We understand. No one can bully us, most importantly we protect you for all times, after all we are your loyal guardians."

Cielo burst into laughter. This group always made him feel warm. At first it was new to him, but after a year he got used to it. They kept their promise, something Cielo thought humans were unable to do.

The group watched Cielo when he laughed it sounded like bells, ever so charming. When he laughed he didn't look like that ice cold prince in the past, or some overpowered emperor. He looks dashing and his noble temperament had long replaced the cold one from the past.

After laughing enough he dismissed them by saying, " Well done with the task of protecting Sawada Ieyoshi for a year. The task continues, even during the war no harm should come to him. I want to see with my own eyes if he will ever admit what he has forgotten. "

They responded and left still puzzled about why Cielo gave them this task over a year ago. Ieyoshi was Cielo's brother yes, but they cant forget that Cielo hates his other brother Leymitsu and the entire Sawada family. They didn't ask because they knew he would eventually tell them.

Takeshi was asked to stay awhile with Cielo after the others left. Takeshi sat down next to him on the chaise. Cielo leaned over and captured his lips in a passionate kiss. Takeshi responded enthusiastically by placing his hands at the back of the other party's neck and deepening the kiss.

After a minute the two separated. Cielo laid down his head using Takeshi's lap as pillow. He pouted, " I missed you. Why didn't you come back sooner."

" Sky, I missed you more. To show you how much I missed you come with me.", Takeshi took his hand and lead him to a water fall that fell thousand meters down. At this time the long grass and trees swayed in the wind. A sudden strong gust of wind came and all the petals sprung up in a wide range around the couple.

At this moment Takeshi got on one knee in front of Cielo and opened his palm. What laid on it was a silver ring beautifully designed with a white moon stone that was polished until it glowed faintly.

" Sky, thank you for giving me this chance to show you what genuine love is. Can we be together for a lifetime so I can never stop showing you? Please marry me.", Takeshi said solemnly.

Cielo looked at the person kneeling and something stirred in his heart. A gust of cold air started building up inside of him and soon he could not contain it. It manifested in the air forming snowflakes that slowly floated with the colorful petals.

Cielo pointed his finger to Takeshi's forehead and a blue snowflake appeared there like a thumb size tattoo. He answered, " Yes Rin. I promise to be together for a lifetime. Together we will share my lifespan, living over a thousand years."

Takeshi could not hide his happiness as he slipped the ring on Cielo's ring finger. He also put on one, it was a pair. He smiled as he got up, " Thank you Sky."

The two shared a kiss. There were several pair of eyes that witnessed all this from a distance. They were happy for their Sky and fellow guardian. Wish them a lifetime of happiness.
