Spider's pov ❁
Spider was blushing so hard he had to look away from Charlotte. He tried to focus on the movie, but his head was like a tornado, thoughts and feeling swirling around and he was scared that if he even moved he would ruin the moment.
There was about 10 minutes left in the movie, and it was getting dark outside. Spider and Charlotte were sharing a blanket, their hands intertwined on spiders thigh over the blanket. Every once and a while, Charlotte would lightly stroke Spiders thumb. His heart was pounding so hard he thought she might hear it over the screams in the movie.
The movie ends, leaving Spider and Charlotte in awkward silence.
"Did you like it?" She asked.
"Yeah, it was good." Spider had barley watched the movie.
Charlotte smiled and sat up, letting go of Spiders hand.
"You tired yet?" She asked, visibly hoping he wasn't.
"Nah, not really."
Charlotte smiled again and said "Good". She reached for his hands and pulled him up off of the bed. "Lets go on the roof."
Charlotte's pov ☆
Spider and Charlotte silently made their way through the lab, both cringing when the outside door hissed opened. There was a tree, leaning against the lab. It was easy to climb, Spider and Charlotte had climbed it many times during their sleepovers. This wasn't a first.
The door hissed behind Charlotte and she follows him towards the tree. She reached forward, and pulls his hand into hers. It was pitch black outside, and Charlotte had always had a secret fear of the dark. Spiders warm hand around hers helped her ignore the forests noises.
Spider stood back and let Charlotte pull herself up the tree first. Charlotte fell straight on her back on her first try, scaring the shit out of Spider.
"Oh fuck are you okay??" Spider asked, crouching down next to her.
Charlotte laughed, "yeah, I'm fine," She sat up, facing Spider. He sighed gratefully and helped Charlotte up. This time, she pulls herself up the branches and reaches the roof with ease, Spider following. They crawled across the roof, sitting on the opposite edge. It was on the edge of a valley, where the Great River of Zhangjiajie ran through the Pandora forest. The light from the stars sparkled off the fast moving water, making Charlotte slightly dizzy. She sat down, beckoning Spider to follow. He sat next to her and looked up at the Sky. Charlotte glanced at him, under his mask, his eyes were lit up by the stars and he looked memorized.
"Char look." He pointed to a constellation. The sliver fox. Charlotte had never seen it so bright before. When Spider, Charlotte and the Sully kid's were younger, they would lay out on the lab roof for hours, watching shooting starts and counting how many stars they could see. Sometimes Norm and Jake would point out constellations and teach them they're meanings.
The Silver Fox 𓃥
The Silver Fox is a symbol of trust in others. Strong bonds through years of growing, never to be broken, but only to grow. The constellation includes a 3 star backbone, a tail rising above the back, 2 stars connecting as a back leg, 4 connecting as a front leg, and 2 stars as a snout. On pandora, the light from the stars connect in the middle, giving the inside of the fox a faint silver glow.
