Charlottes POV

It had been 3 days since the group had gone swimming at the lake, Charlotte was working in the lab; still studying Nalutsas. She was growing bored of the topic, she wanted to start learning about something more exiting. Charlotte had overheard Norm and Trudy discussing trying to contact Earth once again. After almost all of the humans were banished from Pandora, the humans still left had lost contact with Earth and had no idea if people still lived there. It had been almost 20 years since Jake, Norm and Trudy had left Earth. 

Charlotte had always been interested in Earth, it didn't seem half as nice as Pandora; but she had heard stories from Jake. Spider, Charlotte and the Sully kids would gather around a fire and snuggle together, Jake would tell them about the flying cars and things called lap-tops. "I wanna live on Earth!" Lo'ak would say, earning a laugh from Jake. "Trust me kid, I dreamed of living on Pandora when I was young. You're in a much better place." Of course, they never believed him. Neytiri would always remind them of the horrible humans that tried to take over Pandora and who burned down the Navi tree of Souls.

Hearing Norm and Trudy considering contacting Earth had sparked Charlottes interest, and now she was trying to hurry along her current studies, in hopes that Norm would let her help with the new project. 

It was a slow, hot day in the lab, Charlotte lazily scrolled through documents about Nalutsas hunting tactics when the door outside door hissed open.

"Quick! Charlotte help!" Tuk hurried over to where Charlotte was leaning against a lab table and pulled at her shirt. "Spider fell off a tree and got cut!" Charlotte looked up to see Spider with a huge gash in his lower stomach; he had his arm around Lo'aks shoulder and was practically being carried by him. "Tuk I'm fine I've been cut worst than this." He breathed. He was in obvious pain, his breathing was heavy and he winced every time Lo'ak pulled him closer to where Charlotte was standing. 

"Shit Spider, how did this even happen!?" Charlotte ran towards him and grabbed his other arm, leading him to a chair. He groaned as he sat down, grabbing his side. The cut was dripping blood and needed at least 8 stitches. "Holy shit.." Lo'ak examined the cut with a disgusted face while Charlotte ran to find needle and string. "Here, stuff this in his mouth," She handed Lo'ak a towel. "The fuck-" Spider was cut off as Lo'ak shoved the towel in. 

"Shoo Lo'ak," Charlotte pushed him to the side, crouching down. "Lean back Spider," she said, squeezing his hand. He laid his head back, his chest rising and falling quickly, his hands gripping the chairs armrests. Charlotte drenched a clean towel with alcohol, "This might hurt a little," she pressed the towel against the cut. "FUCK-" Spider yelled, his entire body tensing. "I'm sorry I'm sorry!" Charlotte looked up, Spiders eyes were shut tightly, he was panting and his knuckles were turning white. 

Fuck thats hot. Charlotte thought. WHAT THE FUCK! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, HES IN HELLA PAIN! Charlotte shook her head, turning her attention back to the gaping wound she was facing. She had some practice in stitches, but not with cuts this big. "Holy shit.." Lo'ak whispered from across the room, he was covering Tuk's eyes with his hand. 

Charlotte tied a knot in the string and threaded it through the needle. (BTW I literally have no idea how stitches work so please don't follow these instructions!!) Spider winced again as the needle pierced his skin. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry!" Charlotte whispered again, she knew she would never be able to take stitches like this, Spider was really brave to trust her with this.
