Techno's

Appearances

Techno's have dark bodies covered in bright, bioluminescence neon colors and a pink beating heart symbol on their chest. Their entire bodies can glow brightly, especially in the dark. They can make their bodies glow when they want to and can turn them off when they want to. Each Techo is born with different bright colors. The only colors the Techno's bodies can glow are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Their skin is smooth and lacks texture of any kind, resembling a PVC look. Their hair resembles optical fiber threads. Their ears are gill-like and they tend to have a unibrow across their forehead, and their teeth are designed to look like the bars on a music visualizer. Their entire body glows brightly. When not in the water their hair becomes limp, almost resembling a sea anemone's tentacles. They wear clothes covered in bright, bioluminescence neon colors like shirts that expose their beating hearts, shorts or pants, and a tail fin on their lower backs with colored pixels. Their attire can glow brightly with their bodies. The tail fins on their lower back can be in different colors that always glow the same color as their bodies. They also have different colored pixels on their tail fins. While Techno's are amphibious and perfectly capable of living on land, they prefer to be in the water if given the choice. Females are identifiable by their eyelashes, which vary in color. Baby members of this Tribe have a single fin rather than it being parted into two, as well as a single hair strand. They're much smaller than adults.

Abilities

They're adapted for underwater life and can use their tail fins to swim very quickly. Techno's can breathe air and water, and can even blow heart-shaped bubbles. They engage in "Treaditation", a form of meditation that allows them to swim just above the water's surface without sinking into it, this works on quicksand as well. They also have the same hair abilities as other Tribes. While other Musical's can light up their hair, Techno's can light up their entire bodies. Techno's can also levitate above the ground as if they're still in the water. Techno's can move easily through water, are fast swimmers, and can drink both freshwater and saltwater.

Their quick and sudden bursts of movement aren't just applied to dancing, but can also be performed as normal.

Intellectual

Techno's generally seek a mellow and chilled-out life. Most Techno's simply spend their days raving between daily activities and aren't seen investing their time into activities that require an intellectual outlook. They have massive raves that resemble the Pop's love of partying. They get incredibly excited over a Techno dropping a new track.

The Techno's are brave but passive. 

Common pastimes for Techno's besides raves include whirlpool surfing, "Treaditation" (where they turn down the volume of the world and turn up the volume of themselves), sea urchin acupuncture, and electric eel massage. Raving is what brings them together to the same beat and helps them work. Techno's get a sense of unity regardless when raving, which is why it's part of their everyday life and is so important to them. In addition, it turns out that they need their morning raves, the most important rave of the day, as part of their daily routines in order to function and handle their day-to-day lives and they start raving at 4:30 in the morning. Otherwise, without this essential rave they lose concentration, become mopy and sluggish, and even absentmindedly do things they normally wouldn't do (like wear mismatched socks).

They have a habit of making puns out of their name of "Techno's". They also think things spoken while raving are "new moves" as they can misunderstand a person's attempts to find someone as rave dance moves.

Social Structure

Among their Tribe, the rank of "DJ" holds a lot of status, and whoever leads a rave as its DJ is highly praised as it's seen as an honor. This is owed to the DJ being the one responsible for setting the beat that all Techno's will rave to, which is very important to their community.

Techno Tribes are generally friendly with other Tribes. So long as a person can rave with them, they're good. They're among the friendliest Musical's overall.

Their carefree lifestyle can be an issue for more serious people as it is an extremity even compared to other Tribes, proving to annoy or anger those such people. They're also playful and carefree. Some Normal's can get annoyed with the Techno's for taking over their morning swim location, and find it difficult to get to know them. Some Normal's can grow increasingly annoyed with a Techno's influence on their team causing all members to constantly want only to rave. A few Normal's can find it hard to bond as Techno's constantly want to have fun. In all situations, the more serious Normal's have to mellow out and lower their expectations to befriend or see no or little progress in their relationship with Techno's. Techno's generally get along better with more laid-back Normal's.

Culture

Techno Culture is heavily stylized with a focus on bright LEDs and flashing colors. Techno architecture is identified by its use of bright LEDs and neon colors against dark backgrounds. They tend to make use of open-air locations and many things such as their raving areas are not enclosed.

Music

Their music tends to be simple sample mixing and loops they focus on creating a good vibe. Music is more than just fun to them; it is a way of life. Techno Turntables are also really complicated compared to other Musical Tribes turntables with a lot of buttons that are unclear what they do. The closest style to their own music is that of the Pop's, who uses many similar techniques to the Techno's to make music.

Their vocals are described as computer-like when they sing, making them sound cold and mechanical. The Techno's are the only Musical's capable of auto-tuning vocals, besides Hip-Hop and Rap Musical's. They also love dubstep music.

Dancing Style

Techno dancing generally involves them jumping to the beat of the music. The Techno's gather into large crowds to jump together in synchronization, and form waves of movement that flow with the rhythm of the music, the jumping causing them to act like a music visualizer. They'll also do quick, sudden movements with their head and hands. They tend to not use their lower body because of the lack of legs. Their fins and hair are allowed to flow freely to the movement.

When the music says "rave", Techno's rave. They find themselves unable to resist dancing to the beat and will start dancing after being hooked to the beat.

Technology

The Techno's use LEDs and have a more digital-age level of technology, making them one of the more advanced cultures. Techo's are masters of technology. They're great hackers and can't be hacked by the most expert Normal Hackers. Techno's can float in the air because of the techno beats that flow through their bodies. They can invent a lot of things like hoverboards, skateboards with rockets, jetpacks, phones, watches, and other pieces of technology. The Techno's value peace, love, and harmony above all else, and their hearts all beat in sync at a rhythmic 128 beat-per-minute. Technos may be passive, but they can fight if necessary.

History

Techno's appeared during the Creation of the Cosmos. They were the first Musicals along with the Pop's, Funk's, Classical's, Country's, and Hard Rocker's that lived on Earth. Some Techno's helped during the Industrial Revolution when Normal's were making vehicles, elevators, and other machines. They helped with making atomic bombs and space shuttles. They live on the ocean floor in the Atlantic Ocean called Techno Reef where they can rave, swim, and play Techno music on a DJ Booth.
