Twenty nine

I can't get over it... What did just happened?

I held my lips.. what happened earlier flashback in my mind. I did something.. I manage to confess to him and it just came out of my mouth. I was too carried away in my emotions and I became weak. I let him kissed me and I responded to him.

I am ashamed of myself! Gosh.

I think.. I'm too embarrassed to face him again.

Me and my mother met at the place where we going to built the resort. She's here to show support and to see me. The engineer I hired is also here with his people and they have started measuring the place.

To be honest! he's good looking in person.

"Where's architect Javier?"

My mom suddenly ask

"He's gonna be late.."

I don't know if he'll come but he should cuz he has the blueprint.

"Oh speaking of him, he's coming."

I turned my head into direction where my mother is looking

There was a slow motion as he walked towards us.

My heart beat faster..

I bit my lower lip.

Engineer Mascov approach him and they shake hands. Red took out the blueprint inside his bag and showed it to us and while he was talking and explaining I just listened quietly.

"Wow perfect! I was right. No doubt my daughter Irish trusted you."

My mother was very impressed to Red.

Red is now looking at me and I feel a lil bit awkward.

"Wait a minute madame..excuse us, we're going to talk to the laborers."

Mascov formally said.

"Yes go ahead."

Red was with him so mom and I were left alone.

"I know you still haven't forgive me."

My mom break the silence.

"I made a mistakes and you don't understand me."

She face me with a serious face.

"Then tell me why you did that. You hurt my father."

I'm ready to know the truth.

She's still my mother and she deserves to explain everything.

"Are you sure dear? You might be surprised."

Whatever it is. It's time for me to listen to her.

"Just say it.."

She smiled at me

"Your dad wasn't my first love.."

She started.

I listen quietly.

"I was 19 years old when I married your dad, it was arranged marriage. My parents forced me to marry him for their personal interest. They sold me to the man I didn't love. I had a secret boyfriend before and my parents were strict with me."

My mouth's open I can't believe she had a difficult experienced.

"When they found out my relationship, they married me to your dad."

My mom tears started to flow down to her cheeks.

"Your dad is kind and caring towards me. He never takes advantage of me. He always understands me and he allowed me to met my love but..."

She stop in a minute.. it seems like she's having a hard time to continue the story.

"I-It was too late.. he also married someone.. and your father got me pregnant."

I burst in tears.

"After a few years we met again and he still loves me and he cheated on his wife.  We secretly go out and live in together."

"When her wife finds out they had a fight and he left them. "

I don't know how to react since this isn't my story.

"I realized what we're doing was wrong. I ended my affair with him ."

I wiped my tears.

"When I cleaned up my mess, I was shocked and almost died when someone's kidnapped you at the age of four."

"We had no idea who took you but..."

"When you showed up five years ago you didn't tell us anything. You were quiet, so I did an investigation and found out that you were already fifteen when Emmy adopted you. I never stop until I finally knew the person who kidnapped you."

I gasped.

"S-she took you and left you alone in the forest.. ohh my baby"

My mom's voice broke and suddenly hugged me tightly.

"S-she?"

Who is she referring to..

"I don't want to hurt your feelings dear but you deserve to know the truth.."

"Tell me then.."

My heart is beating fast.. and my hands were shaking..

"My best friend..."

I burst in tears and shocked.

"I-Im so sorry my dear.. It was all my fault.. she took revenge on me."

I was so innocent...

The one who... takes care of me is the person took me away from my family.

I couldn't help.. I cry so hard.

Why.. this is so painful.

She's behind my sufferings and my heart is breaking.

I said weakly.

My mom fell silent so I stop hugging her and look to her face..

She look away and gain a strength to answer me.

"I betrayed her.. I had an affair with her husband. Please forgive me dear.."

My eyes widened and my hands covered my mouth.
