Chapter 6
When the two little Guinea pigs walked over to us, they looked us up and down. "Hello" one said sharply. It was the little black and white one.
The bigger one introduced herself as Panda. She was very kind like Cheeky and told me that she was Cheeky's aunt.
I then looked at the orange and White Guinea pig. My first glimpse told me he was a boy. He looked very up himself and was looking at me and Brax like we were second class!
I wanted to be nice to them even though they were mean to us. Daisy always told us to be nice to others because one day they'll come around.
Then I said politely "Hello! It's nice to meet you! I'm Fleebe and this is Brax. We were adopted yesterday." I had barely finished when the black and white girl guinea pig said, "I'm sure he can speak for himself!"
I was taken back. Brax always let me introduce him. Then Cheeky said "Well then why don't you introduce yourself." I could tell she had sensed the tension and was trying to move things along.
"I'm Lulu" she huffed. "And I'm Chev." he said. There was an awkward silence developing and I could tell Cheeky was trying to think what to say.
When it looked like Cheeky knew what to say, Lulu asked "what does your name mean and how did you get it?" I was put on the spot and she was trying to intimidate me. "I honestly don't know." Chev kept staring at me in the corner of my eye. Sure, Chev was a nice looking guinea pig but no one could beat my Brax.
Then I asked "how did you get your name and what does it mean?" I wasn't trying to be rude, I just wanted to see her put into her place, or as the humans say a taste of your own medicine. "I uh don't know!" Then she glared at me and then started to walk away, then said "C'mon Chev. Lets leave Cheeky and Panda to the newbies!" And with that Chev followed.
