A Sunset deadline

I woke up abruptly, my heart pounding, my eyes fluttered, and my vision had spots. I turned quickly, interrupting my teacher's lecture about whatever "KY!" "Huh?" "Where is Kalbergs Ave, please" "I don't know, let me check," she said, pulling out her phone, and after a bit replied, "about 15 minutes by car. It's a long walk though, why?" "And when is sunset?" "Soon, again, why? y/n whats going on?"

"I have to go, I can't explain." i ran out of the room with president mic yelling after me. I might get into trouble later, but I don't care for now. Even if there was only a small chance that the dream was a vision or something else, it was a risk I was willing to take.

I saw a car and replayed Ky's words: "a long walk." She said "15 minutes by car..." "This isn't very hero-like, but.. fuck it, Mage is more important.'

The car was in the faculty lounge, I used rocks to unlock the car door and create keys since it was a teacher's car. I doubted I would be arrested, but I would definitely get more than a lecture.

I used my phone as a gps and blew past every stop light and speeded past way faster than what was legal, but I didn't care, not a very hero-like thought process, but if it ruined my career, so be it as long as Mage was safe. As we got closer, I slowed and parked the car down the street.

I moved quickly and quietly, and when the sun vanished, I arrived. I used a water-like mirror to catch a glimpse into the alley; the two figures have turned into 13 or maybe 15 people. 'Shit'

I manipulated the rock on the side of the building and was able to climb onto the roof. I was able to sneak behind the group. I snaked water around an empty beer bottle and tossed it around the end of the ally. Three guys left to investigate. I knew I was being reckless, but I didn't care. I would push my quirk to the limit if I had to.

Once the figures could no longer be seen by the others, I opened the concrete and sealed them in.

I opened the ground once more and swallowed the cloaked men at the back of the ally. Now only six remained. I attempted to open the earth again, but I couldn't make a pit big enough to fit a cat, so I gave up six people. 'I can do that, maybe... i have to try'

I hoped to the ground, "Hey assholes! Come and get some." They laughed, and I gritted my teeth "Fine, then I'll come to you." There was a bag that seemed to be filled with glass. I made water-like arms and used them to grab the glass and smash the bag into the nearest figures; upon impact, the glass scratched and impaled their skin, and blood flowed down like rain. I smiled, the six became five. One guy got glass in his eye and is now out of commission.

They looked at each other and then charged. I used my water arms to grab and toss them, but it was five vs. one, and I was getting slower by the minute. I suffocated one of them, and they passed out. Now there were four. I tried to suffocate another, but the drugs were still in my system, and I was weak. I could barely use my quirk, so I made knives out of broken glass and rock. 'Close combat it is.'

They charged, I slashed them with my knife, and one shot blue fire at me. I dodged, then slashed another. I was getting weaker by the minute. My adrenaline was wearing off. The sleep had temporarily lessened the effects of the drugs, but it seemed it was making it's way back into my system—all three backed up, then charged again—wait, three?... Too late I realised what had happened: my back erupted in pain; my clothes and skin were melting and burning off.

I stumbled back, the smell of burnt flesh filling my nose. I turned around to fight the man who burned me, but I was too slow. He easily dodged my attack through another wall of fire, but this time I countered with a wall of water. Steam climbed up the brick walls and further burned the skin on my arms and back. I used the steam to attack one of the figures, then impaled him with my makeshift knife.

The drugs only further creeped into my system, clouding my mind. I was clearly outnumbered and outmatched, but I wouldn't give up. Then I felt another pain in my back. I stumbled, seeing someone holding a now empty needle. I did my best to fight the effects. I saw more figures enter the alley, then my world faded to nothingness.

I woke up in a white room once more; however, this time it was a hospital room, not a nursing office. It seemed that all mights car was the one i took 'fuckkkkkk' he, my aunts, Ky and Aizawa—were in the hospital room.

My aunt Eliza was the first to speak: "You are in so much trouble, young lady. I'm so glad you're alive, and I'm so mad at you! Oh, give me a hug!" She squeezed me so tight, I almost thought she was trying to make me pop as a punishment, like a burnt human balloon. It seemed most of my injuries were somewhat healed; they were still fresh and painful but no longer excruciating, so I count that as a win.

I looked around, and Aizawa spoke, "She's in the room next to you, healing. You were...successful in a way." I smiled, "but you were still reckless, and the only reason you came out alive and not kidnapped is that we came to save your ass." I looked down in shame. He's right, I was reckless, and they had to save me. I barely was able to hold my own back there. I felt...Weak All might then spoke up: "Not to mention you illegally drove a car considering you stole it while underage, you don't have a license, and you drove through red lights and passed the speed limit by an ungodly amount. Do you know how many fines I have to pay because of you?"

I fiddled with my hands, "How much trouble am I in?" My aunt Diana spoke up, "Take how much trouble you think you're in, then double it." I looked at my hands again, "Did you get them? The people that took her?" Aizawa frowned "a few of them, yes, although some got away. You put up quite a fight, kid."

I looked at All Might, and he smiled, "As for your punishment, I suppose since you only took my car to save a friend, your only punishment will be....hmmm oh i know cleaning my car unless you're doing something for school if your free and nearby whenever I want, you will clean my car for.... one month."

I smiled weakly "Wait, so i'm not expelled?" Aizawa spoke up, "No, not yet, but do something like this again and you will be, or maybe I'll come up with something worse, like extra homework for a year...or you'll be in charge of cleaning the change rooms; those things get quite gross," he grinned.
