In seconds ice shot from Todoroki to Midoriya, swiftly after it was turned to shards. Sending the cold wind over the audience like cold needles pricking against our skin.

Smoke cleared and Midoriya's misshapen purple finger was now on display. The sight made my stomach churn, no matter how many times I saw that boy break bones id never get used to it.

Again ice was shot and turned to shards, Midoriya now had a second broken finger. 'If this keeps up you'll run out of limbs to break dude..'

A wall of frozen water kept the duo user from flying out of the arena. The wind pressure was so incredibly strong i had trouble catching my breath. More ice and another broken finger quickly ensued.

Todoroki used his ice to make a bridge, he ran at Midoriya, the boy was out of fingers so he switched hands ice again was shattered. The back and forth continued until both boys decided to take it further.

The ice's speed and size grew as it launched at Midoriya, a big boom resonated though arena when the debris cleared I saw that Midoriya was down more then just his fingers. He was down an arm...

The sight was...grotesque the arm was a swirl of colours skin should never be, it was floppy and bent in every direction. I felt my stomach acid begging to crawl out of me but I kept my composure.

It seemed he was not the only one struggling with the consequences of his quirk. Todoroki's left side had frost slowing creeping over it, he looked like an avalanche victim and he was shaking like a leaf. 'He must have a limit...we all do his body will freeze if this keeps up'.

Again ice followed by a strong blast and then a wall so Todoroki doesn't fly out. Midoriya was out of fingers or so I thought he was now reusing his already broken fingers...'your going to tear yourself apart boy! Im gonna throw up...' Midoriya yelled loudly his voice carried across the silent arena "COME AT ME WITH ALL YOU GOT!"

In response Todoroki charged but he was slower this time, he wasn't fast enough and his opponent punched him square in the gut sending him flying backwards.

Both boys trembled from pain and exhaustion, one was bleeding and bruised the other was bruised and freezing.

Again ice, and a blast. Both boys were slowing down, I felt myself leaning forward feeling the intensity from my seat. Both were in pain both wanted to win and neither would quit.

Midoriya was now using his mouth to flick his fingers again it was disturbing. The fighting continued, the same moves were used over and over. Ice was shot then distorted and both opponents were destroying their body's for victory.

Until, there was no more ice Todoroki was shot backwards and skittered across the ground Midoriya's voice again carried over the silent audience "IT'S YOURS! YOUR QUIRK NOT HIS"

There was a pause, then...steam the frost melted and in seconds flames danced across my eyes. Huge beams of light and heat rose up high into the arena, the chill in the air was gone so quickly it was as if it was never there.

Steam filled the space from the mixture of fire and ice, it was beautiful Todoroki's quirks finally in balance, that is until....

"YES SHOTO" 'ugh this old bastard again'
"Have you finally excepted your purpose YES!" Blah blah blah live to to what daddy wants or something i tuned him out.

My eyes darted back to the arena when ice and fire danced straight up from the ground. Midoriya's skin started glowing with power, the dust and steam mixed swirling around each other in a dance of push and pull much like the boys did. Both charged at each other.

Both radiated dangerous amounts of energy 'what the hell...THELL KILL EACH OTHER' I leaned forward in amazement and fear. Before their powers could collide, giant walls of rock raised up from the cement separating the two and taking the Brunt of the blasts.
