What's in a name?

Behind me, mage growled. I had experienced combat before. I've been training for quite a while to fight without a quirk. My mother, who was quirkless, always insisted I should be strong enough to fight without it. My father, who was also quirkless, agreed that me having a quirk was a miracle. Every family member I've met has been quirkless. Me and my aunt are the only ones for a long time to have a quirk. Since she's adopted, it wasn't surprising, but as for me, we don't really know what happened.

My heart pounded in my chest, and my hand hovered over the knife on my thigh. Aizawa prepared for a fight, and 13 stood in-front of us protectively. Todoroki mentioned that they must have a quirk that messed with the alarms and that there were fools for coming, but they definitely thought this out, I couldn't help but agree.

Aizawa lunged into battle, his scarf in hand. He wrapped up villains and tossed them easily—one man vs. so many, yet he still remained successful. I felt bad leaving him, but clearly our teacher could handle himself, so I followed my class to the doors, but 13 paused, a smokey mist came out of the ground, and to my surprise, it talked.

It spoke deeply and in a commanding tone that made my hair stand on end: "There is no escape, so give up. We are the league of villains, pardon our intrusion, but we've decided to invite ourselves into your little... exercise to say hello." My mind raced with possible ways to fight mist, but I had yet to come up with a good solution. Then something it said made me freeze in place: "And besides what a wonderful spot for all might, the symbol of peace to take his last breath, I believe he's supposed to be here... I suppose the plan changed, never mind that my role remains the same" I swear I could see it smiling.

Bakugo and Kirishima lunged at the misty figure, and smoke and dust covered the air around us. However, it was quickly replaced with the dark mist: "You live up to your school's reputation, but you should watch out children otherwise... Someone might get hurt~" The figure grew and covered us in the black mist "I'll scatter you to meet my comrades and your death!" Mage instinctively went in front of me. She flew me out of the mist, panting due to the strong winds. The mist formed a dome, then cleared, and most of my classmates were now gone.

'What the hell', my eyes widened. "Hmm, you're stronger than I first persived y/n..." "how the hell do you know my name!" The mist didn't reply; it merely chuckled, then spoke, "Your fast, but...." Smoke filled my lungs, and I fell from the sky, I saw the portal begin to close as I heard the villans fading words, "Not fast enough..." I continued to plummet until I was snatched up by mage; she must have dove after me.

After landing, I looked around my new environment; based on the rock, I suspected I was in the landslide zone. I heard a noise behind me and instinctively grabbed my knife and pinned them to the ground. mage by my side, I looked at their face.

He had duo hair, red and white. It was my classmate todo...todo...fuckkk todo...Roki I think that's right. I got up and removed my knife from his throat. "Sorry," mage growled, and I turned, now in front of me were real villains todoroki had gotten up and taken a fighting stance quickly the boy froze them and chided them for being so pathetic.

since he was preoccupied with that, so he didn't notice the bear-like man behind him. The man raised a clawed paw "Move!" I pushed him and used the abundance of earth to attack him, then I sealed him in the dirt and rock. Todoroki looked shocked "thank you..." I turned "No problem, but for now, let's save the lectures till we're safe, ok?" He nodded, and we moved through, taking down villains as they came. We decided not to fly out because there could be villains with air quirks, and in the air we would be easier to spot.

As we walked, silence overtook us as both of us were on alert and simultaneously deep in thought. Todoroki turned to face me "How do you think they're planning on killing all might these guys are obviously low-level thugs; it seemed only four of them are the real deal." I paused to think, "Your right, their plan is still unclear. We need more information." he smiled mischievously, "I think I can handle that." Two villains lunged at us, and he froze them in seconds.

"Listen, if you stay frozen, your cells and you will die; however, seeing as I want to be a hero, I'd like to avoid that." He turned to me then back to the villans, "so if you'd like to live, I suggest you tell me how you plan to kill allmight. Now."

We continued to walk when a gust of wind spread throughout the area. I turned to Todoroki "did you feel that?" He nodded, "I think it's Midoriya's quirk." I pursed my lips, "We should hurry if he's using that much force; he could be in trouble." "right!" We ran towards where the wind was coming from, back to the centre of the USJ where Aizawa was hopefully still fighting. I had a bad feeling in my gut, but I ignored it and kept going, "Todoroki, we should fly if we're going in the middle of a battle; it doesn't matter if we're spotted; and we'll get there faster." "ok" "Mage, can you handle it?" She nodded, bending slightly as an invitation.

We hopped on and began our flight, "Todoroki look! All mights here, we should do some recon before landing," we flew around observing the situation, it wasn't good but was clearly improving with all might being around.

Aizawa was passed out and badly injured. My classmates all looked terrified, and Midoriya seemed to be facing that bird-like beast. All might quickly sprang into action, taking down villans like they were nothing but buzzing nats in his way and giving aizawa to my classmates. He told Midoriya to go, so I didn't yet land to help out.

All might slammed the beast into the ground, the gust sending mage upwards. I decided to let her rest, and when we landed, Todoroki and I decided he should stay near the battle to keep other villans off the scene so all might could focus on the bird beast, and that I should help protect our classmates but stay close so I could jump in if need be.

I went with Midoriya Tsu and Tiny; it seemed all might was struggling, and I felt my heart beat quicken. I looked back and saw that blood had now turned Allmight's white shirt to a horrifying crimson. The mist man got involved and had Allmight halfway shoved into a portal. Midoriya spoke up "Asui, can you carry Mr. Aizawa for me?" "Sure, but what are you going to do?" Midoria silently walked off, then ran Mineta shouted after him 'shit... '

"You have enough energy for one more fight girl?" Mage grunted and alowed me on her tsu, spoke up, "y/n don't do anything stupid." I looked back with a weak grin "I always do something stupid, watch Mr. Aizwa, please," and with that I took off.
