For past few days, Dawn and Cisco have been trying to figure out a way to contact Nora and Selene without Dawn going in the future. She was still worried that after the travelling, things would change again.

Caitlin tried to soothe her but Dawn couldn't be calm. She refused to tell the team what was going on until she speaks with her sisters and it's driving the team crazy, especially one Barry Allen.

Caitlin wanted to apologize to him because of how she acted but Barry was never around. Well mentally, because physically he was always here at S.T.A.R. Labs or at CCPD. He always seemed blurry and didn't really speak with anyone as whatever Dawn kept from them made him mad.

Dawn being Dawn, she was stubborn and didn't utter a word, all she ever did was to write in her journal or work with Cisco on time-communication.

That kept Dr Snow worried. Suddenly, it felt like everything was crumbling and changing too fast.

"It's getting boring, Caity. Everyone acts like this is so serious but really, as jf we haven't fought with worse people." Frost's voice rang in her mind. Oh, how grateful Caitlin was for her.

"But it is serious, Frost. I don't think Dawn would be so freaked out if nothing was happening." She protested even if she didn't want to believe it.

"I didn't say it wasn't serious. I'm just saying it not that serious. We've faced Thawne Zoom and Savitar and Devoe and so on, a dude called Mind Breaker can't really do much."

She was right on that one. They have faced so many dangers, it would be stupid to bend down now.

"Do you want to come out and blow that positivity in the team's face?" Caitlin suggested.

"Nu-uh! No way. I'd rather sleep. You deal with them. Adios!"

Without another word, she went into a deep slumber.

Great. And I thought she was the social butterfly.

"Caitlin, earth to Caitlin!" Cisco waved his hand in front of her. The said woman blinked and gave her friend a confused look. "I finally got Dawn to take a break, want to join us for Jitters?"

Caitlin looked around the cortex and noticed someone straring blankly at his phone.

"Isn't Barry coming?"

Cisco sighed exasperatedly. "I asked him, maybe way too many times but he's refusing. I think we lost him in another universe. He looks like a zombie."

Caitlin nodded hesitantly on that. "Maybe I should stay. I'll speak with him. You'll take care of Dawn?"

"Of course," Cisco nodded. "We'll bring you some coffee."

Snow thanked him and made her way towards the scarlet speedster who really seemed like he was in another universe.

"Barry?" She questioned carefully but got no answer. "Barry!"

"Y-yeah?" He blinked, his green eyes making contact with hers. "What's up, Cait?"

He hasn't called her that for so long.

"Nothing, I just wanted to check on you." She replied. "You seem distracted."

Barry scratched the back of his neck. "I kind of am? I can't really put my mind into anything."

"Why is that?" Caitlin took a sit next to him. Maybe they could talk now since no one else was in the cortex.

"I have no idea." He gave her a tired expression. Upon her look he chuckled and added. "Okay, maybe I have an idea but it's nothing. Nothing until Dawn says otherwise."

"I know it got you stressing," Caitlin put her hand on his. "But I'm sure everything's not as horrible as it seems. Just few minutes ago Frost reminded how much we've been through. The good thing is, we've always managed to survive, we can do it again."

Barry nodded with a small smile but Caitlin knew he didn't believe her.

"I really believe that, Barry." She added with an honest look. Barry caught her brown eyes and something sparked in them. "Our team has faced so many things, are we really going to let another trial pull us down? Aren't we stronger than that? I believe in our power, in our unity. No one has to face problems alone, Barry. You and I both know that well."

For the first time in a long time, Barry gave her a real, genuine smile. He squeezed her hand and whispered softly. "Thank you."

"Together, we can do it." She replied with a smile, not giving him a chance to forget. However, her expression changed when she rememembered what she wanted to talk about. "Barry, I'm so sorry for how I act—"

"Please, don't apologize. Your emotions were out of control, plus whatever said was true." Barry took both of her hands in his. "I'm the one who's sorry, Cait. I was always so distracted that I never saw your pain, or anyone else's. I was never there when you needed me the most while you always stood next to me, for better or worse."

"Barry—"

"I'm not done," He chuckled, then became deadly serious. "Cait what you said. . . About being broken. . . h-how are you? I'm sorry I didn't ask this enough, or perhaps never pried into it when I should have."

"I'm fine, Barry. Really." Caitlin reassured. "I won't lie, I'm broken, but not being repair. I'm gonna take my own advice and not let this break me. I can handle myself, now I just want to focus on whatever's going on and Dawn's not telling."

Barry nodded with a sad smile. "Just promise me you'll tell me whenever anything will bother you."

Caitlin gave him a look. "I'll promise if you'll promise."

"You got it," Barry chuckled. "Now," He stood up with her hand in his. "Come on, let's join Dawn and Cisco at Jitters."

Caitlin's face erupted into a big smile. "Let's go,"
