Everything seemed different and the same, all at once, in the future.
But it was good, dam good to be home.
"We're back," Dawn breathed out.
"How long ago did you leave?" Oak asked them.
Selene shrugged. "I honestly can't remember."
"Me neither." Nora chuckled with tearful eyes.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's go home!" Oak jumped up and down, then he grabbed his older sister's hand and they all dashed out of there towards the West house, they hoped whole family would be there.
This is it. Nora thought and knocked on the door. It swing open and a familiar face grinned at them. "Ah! Girls, you're right on time!" Mama Cecile exclaimed and led them inside.
"In time for what?" Selene questioned as they walked inside.
"Yeah, mama Cecile, I smell your famous pie, are we celebrating something?" Dawn asked made her way in the backyard.
"Yeap!" Cecile grinned. "Iris has something to announce."
"She does?" Nora raised her eyebrows. Cecile nodded and Oak ran after Dawn in the backyard, Nora and Selene followed and found their whole family gathered there. Her mother seemed to be glowing positively as she laughed at Eddie's joke.
"Mom?" Nora asked carefully, past fears crawled at her as she worried if anything major changed.
"Honey, you're here!" Iris grinned and wrapped her daughter in an embrace. "How was school?"
Nora blinked from surprise. She completely forgot about school. "I-It was all right. What's going on here?"
"Catch me, daddy!" Oak yelled and ran in his dad's direction, stopping Iris from answering. Eddie kneeled down and picked up his son in the air. "Hi, buddy! Hope you didn't cause your sister any trouble."
"Oh, no," Nora smiled and pinched Oak's cheek. "He was an angel."
"I was!" Oak grinned and then winked at his sister. "Nora, Dawn and Selene brought me in the playground, it was fun!"
Nora smiled again, this time filling with warmth. Oak was such a smart boy.
"Well, it's good you guys came right on time." Iris said and rubbed her daughter's arm. "We've got something to announce."
"Are we buying a pony?" Oak asked.
"I'm sure this is not about pony." Nora told him as their parents laughed.
"It's not." Eddie agreed with a happy smile.
Nora looked around the backyard. Cisco, Ralph and Holden were chatting with Joe. Cecile, Sue, Celeste and Cynthia were sitting on the chairs, smiling and laughing about something. And her sisters were looking almost tearful while smiling at something Barry said. Caitlin wrapped her arms around Selene and told her something while laughing.
This whole moment was special to Nora. Very special.
She walked up to her dad and her sister, barely containing her tears. She wasn't sure if everything was fixed.
"Hi, dad." She whispered with a small smile.
"Nora!" Barry's face erupted into a giant smile and he pulled his daughter in a hug. "I don't know what's up with you two, but it seems you're both alergic to something. Your eyes are filled with tears."
"Oh, trust me, I'm not crying." Dawn replied stubbornly. "But if we're both alergic, it gotta be your fault."
Barry chuckled. "I apologize."
