Chapter 7: Luigi's rescue

During our travel, a beam of light suddenly pierced through the ship's window. I thought it was the morning sun at first, and so I peered through the window, only to find a shimmering comet that was as turquoise as my current dress in front of me.

Even if it wasn't what I was thinking of, that comet sure caught my attention and I quickly shook the sleeping Luma awake. "Hey, wake up! Look!" I shouted excitedly as I pointed at the window. "We HAVE to get to that comet!"

We descended on the comet and found that it was made of ice, as I nearly slipped and fell. Despite us looking high and low, the Luma's mother was nowhere to be found. I was practically exhausted at this point, so I sat down with a flop, utterly unable to take another step. "Ugh, I can't take it anymore..." I groaned.

"Look!" Luma called out as he was pointing down at the icy ground, and when I peered down at it, I noticed clusters of Star Bits encased in the ice, much to my surprise. "Pretty good, huh? Finding Star Bits is my specialty!" Luma beamed.

"Huh..." I mused. "Well, there's ice here, but at the same time, it's so warm. So I'll bet there's water here too."

And with that, we decided to stay on the comet for a while. By riding it, we continued our search for Luma's mother. What we didn't know yet back then... is that this very comet will one day become the very Observatory that I command today.

Rosalina: Am I glad that you finally made it, you all. Rosalina said as she was talking with the members that had just arrived at the Observatory: those being Daisy, Sonic, and Incineroar. Along with them was Tails. Well, welcome to the Comet Observatory, you all. For those who don't know, I am Rosalina, and I command this place.

Sonic: I gotta say, you run a pretty amazing place!

Tails: Look! Up there!

Everyone, including the rest of the gang, watched as Mario and Link flew around the Observatory with the Grand Star before landing. The Grand Star spun and flew into the beacon, making it bright green as the back of the Observatory had its lights back on while a red pipe lit up and opened the entrance to the third dome, which was made entirely out of red brick walls with an eternally-smoking chimney on top.

Rosalina: Another Grand Star has been rescued, and power has returned to another dome in the back of the observatory!

Polari: Ah, the kitchen is open

Min Min: So that's the kitchen Eh? My cooking will definitely be a lot easier now.

Ren: Oh yeah...we all had to make a bonfire so that you can cook

Rosalina: Hmmm, but I still don't think we have the Star Power we need to fly the observatory through the universe.

Mario: We can keep going

Daisy: Yo guys! Glad to see you safe and sound! Especially you, Mario!

Mario: Nice to see you too Daisy. Wait what do you mean "especially me"?

Daisy: Let's just say that some...bad things happened at the Mushroom Kingdom right after Peach's Castle was lifted into space.

Shulk: What? Did you just say... some bad things happened at the Mushroom Kingdom?!
