Zhongli squeezed through the crowded streets, aiming for his destination; Tartagalicious Bakery.
Ding! The bell thats hanging by the entrants rings, signaling a new customer.
"Welcome back Zhongli!" Lia waves at him.
"Happy valentine's day Lia" Zhongli smiles back.
Behind the counter, a certain ginger looks at them with jealous eyes thinking, 'I should be the one talking to him right now, not her'.
"I'm actually here to look for Childe today, unless he's out on a date with someone?" Zhongli chuckles.
"Oh! Childe, you say? Well he's too ugly to get a date this year why don't you two hang out? He's on break anyways I don't mind him stepping out for a bit." Lia sneaks a sly smile at Childe who was still hiding behind the counter.
Childe emerges from behind the counter and slowly makes his way to Zhongli.
"Hey" Zhongli smiles.
"Hey" Childe awkwardly says back.
They stand there for a bit before Lia breaks the silence.
"Hey uh lovebirds sorry to interrupt but your kind of blocking the line why don't you do go outside for a bit?"
"Oh! Sorry, sorry" Childe and Zhongli say as they hurry outside.
"Sorry about my sister for um, earlier," Childe blushes after they get outside.
"It's okay, I didn't mind at all, in fact, it was kind of nice." Zhongli smiles at Childe.
"W-WAIT WAIT WAIT WHAT?" Childe backs away.
"I'm just teasing, your crush on me however is really obvious though, aren't you going to ask me out?" Zhongli backs Childe up to a wall.
"I, um, w-wait-"
*insert overly dramatic k-drama kissing scene*
"I-" Childe practically melts onto the floor.
"Haha, your so cute" Zhongli chuckled and pulls out a box from his pocket.
"Some chocolates for you dear" Zhongli looks at Childe.
'Dear, DEAR? DEAR?????' Childe thought to himself, he was losing it.
Zhongli smiled smugly as he got what he wanted, seeing how Childe would react to him saying these things was just so satisfying to Zhongli.
"I don't think your sister will mind if we sneak off for the rest of today hmm?" Zhongli lifts the ginger's chin up.
"I uh ah um eh" Childe was still in shock from earlier and was as red as a tomato.
"Let's go my love" Zhongli picks Childe up bridal style and heads towards his apartment.
