"WOAH SO GODS AND DRAGONS ARE REAL?" Lia gasped and almost collapses from information overload.
"Yes, but no. Only in the universe I lived in. This is Earth now where all of this is a myth so technically not." Childe sighs. He's been trying to explain how he came here to Lia for the past 2 hours now.
"Oh my~ So you died saving your beloved Mr. Zhongli even in your part life?~" Lia teased.
"Stoppp, ugh your so annoying. Anyways yeah I was so so so happy when I saw him again..." Childe's eyes started to water up.
"Ah, I'm sorry. That was a little rude of me. Anyways well, you've seen him again, and your friends, just explain this to him! I don't 100% believe you but I have heard of this "Archon war" in a fantasy book that not a lot of people read so that is one sign your not lying."
"He's a history professor, Lia. He wouldn't listen to my 'little fantasy stories'." Childe was sobbing now.
The poor ginger had recalled the memories of the last few moments when he was laying in Zhonglis arms on the battle field and the thought that he might never be hugged like that by Zhongli again shot daggers through his heart.
"Don't worry Childe, at least give it a try right? The 2 of you seem quite close since recently."
"I guess... I don't think I'll be able to keep my composure if I try talking about it to him though."
"You have his number, so just text him?"
"That doesn't seem formal."
"Welp, cant help you there anymore, your so stubborn... anyways good luck! I'll be cheering you on" Lia stands up and leaves.
Childe just sighs and sits there, thinking about his next move.
__________________________________Zhongli, who was outside of the cafe, accidentally listening in on their whole conversation, put a hand over his mouth. He had not plan to stay but he just stood outside the store after he left. He didn't know why he didn't walk away but it was a instinct or voice of some sorts begging him to stay.
"So... the dream..." he muttered as he tried to walk away unsuspiciously, hoping no one noticed him just standing in front of a closed store for 20 minutes.
'Childe loves me? I'm not so sure if i return these feelings or not...' Zhongli kept on replaying what Childe has said in his head trying to connect it with his past dreams. After a while of pacing back and forth between his apartment, he managed to picture a small portion of what may have happened according to the things that lined up between his dreams and what Childe has said. Zhongli decides that it would be the best if he asked Childe about it when he next returns to the bakery after his busy work schedule.
