Some parents took the news better than others. Endeavor, for one, was quickly over the whole time reset business once he heard about Touya. And Tenya's parents, who came from a line of heroes themselves, were very supportive. Most were just confused, but happy, in a sense. Worried, too. Some of them had refused to send their children back to UA, only for the teens themselves to talk to reassure them that everything would be okay. Even the Bakugou's took the news fairly well!

Then there was Inko Midoriya.

"You did what to my son?!"

Yeah, she wasn't as easily convinced as the other parents... All Might flinched as she raised her voice, quickly looking anywhere but the enraged mother of his successor. Young Midoriya had asked him to be there for this, to help him explain One For All to his mom. They had expected her to be overly worried, for her to cry, but not for her to get as furious as she got right now.

"Mom, it's not as bad as it looks, I swear-" Izuku started, trying to calm her down, only for her to turn her glare towards her son.

"He gave you a dangerous quirk and didn't even teach you how to use it properly before you destroyed your whole body!" Inko yelled. "He didn't even tell you this quirk is connected to some massive super villain, who apparently wants you dead just for having this thing, before handing you the quirk! And now you're telling me it's okay?! That it isn't so bad that my only son is sent off to fight that very same villain that nobody has been able to beat for 200 years?!"

She took a shaky breath, trying to steady herself as tears welled up in her eyes. If only she knew, Izuku thought. If only this Inko knew that that very same villain was actually the man she loved and married so many years ago... She wasn't the only one- couldn't have been the only woman All For One tricked into marrying him. Izuku didn't like to think about it, never really investigated it either, because what if it was true? What if Izuku had half-brothers and sisters out there somewhere? People neither he nor his mom knew about, people his father didn't care about...

"I'm sorry Izuku," Inko said, losing the battle against the tears. "I wanted to support you, I really did. But this..? I... I can't lose you too!"

Izuku quickly pulled her into a hug as she cried, trying his best not to burst out in tears as well.

"You're not losing me, mom," Izuku whispered. "I'll come back, I always do."

"This is different, Izuku! You could die!" she cried out. "That villain could kill you!"

"He won't," Izuku assured her.

"You can't be certain of that!"

"I am," Izuku said, pulling back from the hug so he could face Inko. "Mom, there's something I need to tell you...about dad."

All Might's eyes widened when he heard that. Of course Inko had known about her husband in their previous lives. They had told her after the man himself came clean about it during his fight with young Midoriya in order to throw him off. But this Inko had no idea. She'd only just been informed of One For All, and having to deal with All For One on top of that...

"...Your father?" she asked, confused.

"Yes," Izuku nodded. "Come, you'll want to sit down for this."

"Young Midoriya, are you sure this is-" Toshinori started, trailing off once he saw that determined look on Izuku's face. And so he kept his mouth shut, listening as the boy told his mother everything he knew about his father, about All For One. Inko was in denial at first, but she couldn't keep denying everything as Izuku continued explaining. The oddities, the inconsistencies, the plausible evidence... It was more than a mere coincidence.
