"it was a beautiful day today, wasn't it?" Joe pressed a kiss to Phoebe's cheek as he wrapped his arms around her naked torso from behind. Phoebe squealed before resting her head on Joe's shoulder and nodding. "it was perfect" she whispered as she ran her hand through the warm water of the bathtub they were currently in.

It really had been a perfect day. After waking up this morning, Joe had immediately surprised her with a romantic breakfast of all her favorite foods. There had been pancakes with chocolate chips, lots of coffee, and even little cakes.

Afterwards, the two had gone for a little hike in the wooded area adjacent to the resort. It was beautiful, though quite cold, but the two had really enjoyed the togetherness in nature as they walked holding hands on the small trails.

After a small midday snack at one of the coffee shops that were part of the resort, they had gone together to their spa afternoon that Joe had booked for them. There were couples massages, face masks, and Phoebe had even gotten a manicure.

She hadn't felt this relaxed in a long time as she and Joe walked back to their cabin after dinner at the restaurant, where the final surprise awaited them.

The large bathtub was filled, countless rose petals floating on the surface of the water and scattered throughout the room. Candles were everywhere, dousing the bathroom in just enough light to give it a cozy, romantic warm glow.

There were also two glasses with a bottle of champagne ready, which Joe filled before stepping into the warm water before Phoebe. Phoebe had quickly tied her hair into a bun so they wouldn't be in the way before she had joined Joe in the tub and settled it between his legs.

Joe groaned before lightly biting her shoulder. "Can you blame me? I've had you sitting naked between me for what feels like hours and well, you can't expect me to keep it together the whole time" he chuckled.

"It's not like I was complaining" Phoebe mumbled as she quickly turned around. "I just think we should move this whole thing to bed or we'll flood the bathroom" she grinned at him before standing up.

Joe eyed his girlfriend's naked, wet body and gently stroked her left leg up to her thigh before giving her butt cheek a quick pinch. "Honestly, I so wouldn't care right now" he remarked.

Phoebe rolled her eyes with a laugh. "You're impossible" she laughed as she got out of the bathtub. Joe sighed and stood up as well. "Alright, it'll be the bed then" he pouted as he too got out of the tub and stole the towel from Phoebe's hand that she was about to dry herself with.

"That's my job" he clarified as he pulled her to him and gently began drying Phoebe's hair with the towel before turning his attention to her body. Phoebe giggled as Joe very carefully rubbed every inch of her dry.
