*Flashback*

Spencer was parked outside of the Baker's mansion ready to make his decision. Does he take Olivia back and break it off with Alicia or does he tell Olivia it's best that they remain friends and doesn't hurt Alicia. Either way he knows deeply someone was about to get hurt. He was thinking about his conversation with his mom.
"Avoiding Liv" Spencer told his mom the reason why he showed up at Crenshaw. "Why?" She looked at her son confused. "She wants to get back together" with Grace confused about why that is an issue when Spencer and Olivia both haven't been as happy since the break up. "Is that a bad thing?" She asked her son. "I don't know yet" he looked to his side trying to figure out what he should really do. "I mean what really changed since we broke up..." she blurted out with no hesitation "you have" she placed her hand on her hip. "And you're not as happy baby just acknowledging the fact"
He sighed knowing he didn't want to hurt anybody. But he was sure about his decision. He let out a deep sigh as he opened the car door. He stepped out and shut the door. "You got this" he told himself as he made his way to the front door of the mansion. He knocked on the door feeling confident about his decision. Olivia opened the door relieved to see him. "Spencer.." she went directly for the hug confusing him with the sudden embracement like old times. "Hey..." he said with so much confusion as he hugged her back hearing her sigh deeply. "I, uh.. came by earlier but you weren't home. Figured we had that talk" he said. "What?" He wasn't aware about her dads bus crashing. "You wanted to talk earlier...but I sorta of been avoiding you today so.." she was confused. "Have you not gotten the messages?" She asked him. "My phones off why?" He was starting to get concerned. "My dads bus crashed...."

I haven't processed this

I haven't processed this. This is the worst news I've gotten since my pops died. Coach Baker was like my dad. Listening to that voice message hearing him praise me. Telling me I was right and that that he's staying in Crenshaw. Just to turn around to see Layla and Coop emotional. I couldn't hear cause it felt as if everything went numb. My phone fell out of my hands to the floor. I looked at Jordan who was on the verge of tears. My heart slowly fell to my stomach as I went straight to Liv and grabbed her. She leaned against me like her knees went weak and was using my body for support. She was emotional, everyone was... I wrapped my arm around her waist and held her hand which was trembling. I said J's name hoping I wasn't tripping. Hoping I was gonna hear news about Coach being good but if he was good then he would be walking in the house with moms and J. My mind was fucked up when J said he was gone. I was trying to process what I was hearing and next thing I know Liv broke down in a painful sob turning towards me grabbing onto me. I looked at her realizing this was real. The pain was unbearable. I felt Liv falling so I made sure to hold her so that she didn't. We were all grieving but I have to be strong for everybody for my own sanity. I am not okay. I just lost another dad... I feel guilty I should've spoken to Coach Baker sooner. I should've just been happy for him. With me being short with him and he decided to call and leave a nice voice message hurts the most because I won't be able to get my time back with him. Though I didn't want to, moms thought it was a good idea to give the Baker's privacy for the night. So we did. I didn't sleep, I don't think anyone really did.

"I can't believe this is real. I feel for Mrs. Baker, Jordan, and Liv" Dillion told his brother while they were seated on the couch at their Crenshaw home. "Me too. We know this feeling when we lost Cory. They're gonna need all the support in the world" Spencer told his younger brother. "Yeah you're right. I feel for you too bro" Dillion gripped his brother shoulder. "Thanks man. I'm just trying everything I can to be strong for them though. I feel horrible.. I should've had a real conversation with Coach Baker. All I have is that voice message" Spencer sighed. "Don't blame yourself and don't be hard on yourself" Grace came out of her room. "Billy knew how much you loved him and he loved you" she walked over and leaned down hugging both of her sons. "If this doesn't teach you that time isn't always on our side then I don't know what does" and with that Spencer instantly thought about Liv. "I love you both so much" she sniffled. "We love you too" they both said as they were holding onto each other. She kissed both of their heads and stood up completely. "Going to meet up with Mrs. Baker for the funeral arrangements?" she nodded at Spencer. "Give her a hug for me" he told her. "I will as long as you give Olivia a hug for me" she pat his shoulder. "Yes ma'am" he said as he pulled out his phone. The door opened and closed when Grace left and Dillion glanced at his brothers phone. 5 missed calls from Alicia somebody is gonna be pissed" Dillion tried to bring some humor in the house. "Ain't nobody gonna be pissed" Dillion raised his eyebrows. "Really? So you don't think Alicia will be pissed that you're gonna dump her for your ex girlfriend? Which she has been hurt in the past" Spencer was silent. "You need to be honest" he said. "I know and I will. You know I was going to tell Liv that I want to just be friends. I don't want to put Alicia through another heartbreak. But everything happened so fast... and Liv breaking down in my arms..." he trailed off. "Made you realized you were about to make the wrong decision" Dillion spoke for him. "Pretty much. Man Alicia is great person but she's not Olivia" he admitted. "Of course she isn't. That girl is your soul mate. The green flag was when she told you her light never dims around you and that she's still in love with you. I'm good over here" Spencer was confused. "I didn't ask?" Dillion chuckled at his brothers confusion. "Meaning get your ass to Beverly Hills, your girl needs you" Spencer couldn't help but to smile. He misses Liv so much as his girlfriend. With the loss of both of his dads, he knows he doesn't have all the time in the world. He needs to make things right with Liv.
