Olivia was at the beach house watching reality shows on the couch. "Couldn't be me" she said to herself as she watched the ridiculousness on the the screen. She let out a sigh as she was feeling completely bored. She knew she had to go back to class on Monday but wasn't sure if she was ready. She didn't want to start failing her classes because she was still grieving. She was missing Spencer who left for football practice. She knew he would give her some great advice. She pulled out her phone when it vibrated. A smile formed on her face when she saw that it was Spencer texting her.
I wish I would've stayed home and watched dumb movies with you... Practice isn't the same without your pops..
I know... Think of it this way.. whatever you're going through right now at practice is only temporary. Practice will be over sooner than you think. And when it's over, I'll be here when you get back ❤️
She couldn't stop smiling while texting Spencer. The door opened and closed with Coop walking in. "Liv?" Olivia looked over her shoulder at Coop. "Hey.." she looked back at the TV. "What are you doing here?" Coop asked. "Spencer is at practice so I'm waiting for him" she said as she was flipping through channels. "Waiting for him? Y'all ain't back together are y'all?" Olivia narrowed her eyebrows trying to understand why it mattered to Coop. "Why is that any of your business?" Olivia was annoyed with the way Coop has been treating her but hasn't said anything because she's grieving the loss of her dad and because it's the least of her problems. "You do know he got Alicia pregnant right? Meaning that baby will be the number one person in his life. Then his mom, then Alicia, then me..." Olivia shook her head with a sarcastic smirk on her face as she wasn't surprised by Coop's actions. "What?" Coop realized she wasn't amused. "You're ridiculous" Olivia was fed up. "I'm ridiculous?" Coop pointed at herself. "Look Liv, we need to talk" Coop walked over and sat down. "Yeah I believe we do" she sat the remote down before folding her arms as she looked at Coop. "What have I ever done to you? Like seriously.. you're always so negative towards me. Especially when me and Spencer broke up, you've gotten real nasty towards me. I held back out of respect for Spencer but I'm fed up with it Coop. If you have a problem with me and Spencer then you need to take that up with Spencer and even then, it isn't none of your damn business. You're so good at being in everyone else's business. Maybe just maybe.. if you would've put that same energy into your relationship with Patience, you'd still be together" Olivia was done holding back. "Me and Patience has nothing to do with this conversation. I get it you're upset about the whole Alicia thing. But that was Spencer's girl. You didn't respect his relationship by confessing to him that you're still in love with him. How is that fair to Alicia? It's Layla all over again..." Coop shrugged. "Just how I feel" Coop added. "Just like how you didn't respect my relationship with Spencer. All of the negative talk. All of the terrible advice. All of the humiliation I felt at game night when you spoke highly about Spencer sleeping around with Alicia before they started dating. Right after him and I broke up. Do I need to continue?" Coop was silent. "I've always been supportive of you Coop. Whether if that was your friendship with Spencer. Relationship with Patience. Your music. You name it... But where's my support? But hey I'm not Alicia or Layla right?" She stood up and walked upstairs to Spencer's room leaving Coop alone.
The doorbell rung at the Baker's. "Coming" Simone's voice came from upstairs. "No worries, I got it" Lando said as he went to the door. Simone was heading downstairs when Thea came walking in the door. "Thea, what are you doing here?" Simone asked a bit surprised to see her. "Your boyfriend invited me" Thea folded her arms. "No worries, Damon is on the way" Simone looked at Lando. "Damon? Lando what's going on?" Lando was trying his hardest not to lose his cool on Simone. "I need some answers but after talking to Thea on the phone, looks like she needs answers too" he looked at his girlfriend full of disappointment. "Answers about what?" She was annoyed by his actions. "About you and Damon" Thea blurted out. "You see, I thought this whole you and Damon thing was over with but it looks like it just started once again" Thea said. "You guys me and Damon are just friends—" she was cut off. "Not what you told me. You told me that you two aren't friends anymore" he was furious because now he knows she's lying to him. "Lando can we please talk about this later. I'm supposed to meet up with Liv and this house is just not the place" Simone was trying to do anything to get out of the situation. "I'm pretty sure Liv would rather hang out with honest people" Thea rolled her eyes. "Yeah she's good. I'm sure Spencer is taking good care of her. Kind of like how Damon took care of your needs and wants, huh?" A knock on the door interrupted them. "I wonder who that might be" Thea said sarcastically. "You guys this is ridiculous" Simone opened the door with Damon standing in front of her. "Hey" he looked at her confused. "Thank God you're here.." she held the door opened while he walked inside. "Why because he makes you more happy than me" Lando clenched his jaw glaring at Damon. "Bro there's nothing going on between me and your girl" Damon defended Simone. "I'm single so... I'm good. I'm just here for the tea..." Thea lied.
