I made a mistake

I made a mistake. I can't believe I cheated on Jordan twice. What is wrong with me? As much as I been trying to avoid Jordan, I can't avoid him forever. I need to be honest, even if the truth will hurt.

Layla walked into the beach house to see Olivia in the kitchen making breakfast in Spencer's oversized black T-Shirt and some shorts. "Hey Liv" Layla sat down at the island table. Liv turned around to see a very guilty Layla staring at her. "Hey Liv? That's all you can say to me?" She sat the spatula down before folding her arms. "Liv I am sorry" Liv shook her head in disbelief. "I love Jordan, I really do. I have no excuse for my actions..." Layla felt guilty. She not only betrayed Jordan but she also betrayed her best friend. She knew she needed to be honest but wasn't sure how. She didn't want to lose Jordan. "I love Jordan very much" she watched her best friend shake her head. "You have a funny way of showing it. If you loved my brother you wouldn't be sleeping with the enemy. Clay of all people? Come on Layla.. this will break Jordan. He doesn't deserve this.. he loves you more than anything and you do this? You better tell him by the end of the night or I will" she grabbed the spatula and turned around to flip the pancakes over. Spencer came walking down the stairs to find Layla seated at the island table in silence. He could read the room. It was awkward and he wondered why. "Layla, hi" he walked in the kitchen. "Hi Spence" she forced a smile. "Everything's good?" He asked as looked over at his girlfriend who was cooking in silence. "Yes, why wouldn't it be?" Liv rolled her eyes at Layla's statement and Spencer saw it. "I don't know.. I can read the room" he was confused. "Everything's fine. I have to go" she stood up looking at Liv who's back was facing her. "I'm really sorry Liv" she said before leaving. "What is she sorry about and why are you giving her the cold shoulder?" She was putting the food on two different plates. "Because your little ex cheated on my brother" Spencer was shocked. He didn't know what to say and couldn't believe Layla would do that to Jordan. "Nah, you're joking" she turned around to face him. He knew she wasn't lying which caused him to immediately feel for Jordan. "Why would she do that? And with who?" She placed the plates down on the table. "I don't know why she would do that but with Clay" he was speechless. "This is going to hurt Jordan" she shook her head in disbelief.

I wasn't looking for Layla at the studio since her phone was turned off for some reason. She wasn't there which caused me to get a little worried. As I was heading out, I ran into Clay.

"Jordan, I didn't expect to see you here" he had a smirk on his face. "Have you seen Layla? I've been looking for her but her phone is turned off" he said. Clay gave him a shrug as he continued to smirk. "Just means she doesn't wanna talk to you" Jordan didn't find the humor in that. "I'll just check the beach house" he was about to head out. "She deserves better you know?" Jordan was trying to hold his composure. "What is your problem?" Clay let out a chuckle. "I don't have a problem but you seem to do. I'm just a friendly coworker" Jordan squinted his eyes trying to figure out what he meant by that. "Friendly?" Clay pat his shoulder with Jordan shrugging his hand off. "Don't touch me" he warned Clay. "Too bad Layla didn't say that to me both times" Jordan lost his cool by striking Clay with a punch. "Stay away from her" he warned Clay before he walked out. Jordan was walking to his car when he was calling his sister. "Liv, have you seen Layla? I've been trying to call her but her phone is turned off. I'm really worried" he said.

Liv's POV

This angers me

This angers me. Layla chose to cheat on my brother but wants to turn her phone off to make him worried as if she hasn't done enough damage already. All I could think of is the road where her mom died in that car crash. Me and Spencer had plans but we needed to help Jordan find her.

Spencer pulled up behind Jordan on the road. He was standing outside with his hands on top of his head pacing. "J" Spencer and Olivia got out the car. "I can't find her" he shrugged at them. "I don't know what to do and Clay..." he shook his head. "He told me they messed around twice but I refuse to believe him" he shook his head. "It's true Jordan.." he looked at his sister in disbelief. "Wait, you knew? And you didn't tell me?" He felt betrayed by his own blood. "Jordan, it wasn't her place. Layla should've told you" he let out a chuckle. "Let me guess, you knew too..." Jordan took a few steps back. "I can't believe this. You're my best friend. You're my sister... how could both of you keep this from me. You know what... screw this" he walked to his car. "Jordan wait.." Liv begged as she was getting emotional. "Go to hell" he opened his car door and got in with him slamming the door shut. They watched him start the car and speed off. "This is my fault" Liv began to cry. "It's no one's fault but Layla's" he hugged his girlfriend.

Rochelle was standing on the porch waiting for her cousin to open the door. Alicia came walking outside instead. "What are you doing here?" She was still disappointed in Rochelle for going behind her back. "Look, I'm sorry for betraying you. I'm just trying to protect you" she told her cousin. "Protect me? I don't need protection Rochelle. I need your support. Spencer doesn't love that girl. If he did they would've stayed together. They wouldn't have broken up in the first place. She ruined our relationship and I'm supposed to just move on? I'm tired of moving on. I'm tired of the betrayal from men. It's time to get even" Rochelle knew Alicia wasn't giving in. "What are you gonna do?" Alicia wasn't sure if she could trust Rochelle. "Why should I tell you? How do I not know you'll go running to Olivia and Spencer? If you could promise me you won't go running to them then I'll let you in on my little plan" Alicia folded her arms. "You have my word. I want in on the plan. Family comes first, right?" A smile formed on Alicia's face as she gave Rochelle a nod. "Alright here's the plan...."
