Time Waits For No One

The sun beaming through the blinds woke Olivia up in the early morning. Squinting her eyes from the sun beaming in her face. She let out a yawn before turning over to see Spencer sleeping peacefully. A smile formed on her face as he was laying on his side facing her. She realized she fell asleep waiting for him to finish his 20 page paper. The thought of him bringing her to bed made her heart skip a beat. Slowly without waking him, she got out of bed. She walked around to his side of the bed to slip on his slides and made her way into the bathroom.

Liv's POV

I never knew it was possible to love someone this much. Meeting Spencer was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Despite everything we've been through, my feelings for him hasn't changed not once. That's why I couldn't date Noah. Using him to make Spencer jealous was a bad idea because anybody could see right through me that nothing was going to happen between me and Noah. Yes we kissed but that was it. No one could ever replace Spencer, ever.

Spencer woke up to the smell of bacon. He saw that Olivia was no longer sleeping besides him. He rubbed his eyes and sat up as they were squinted from the sun beaming on his face. He got out of bed and realized his slides were missing. He chuckled to himself realizing she stole them from him. "You're awake" he looked towards the door seeing her walk in with a tray that has a cup of orange juice and a plate of breakfast food that she made him. "I hope you're hungry for French toast, eggs, and bacon because that's all you had" he started grinning. "Damn girl I was about to go downstairs and snatch my slides off your feet. How can I do that now when you're doing wifey shit for a brotha?" She laughed and shook her head. "It's cute to believe you'd be able to snatch them off of my feet" she walked over and placed the tray on the night stand. "Don't tempt me girl" they both laughed. "For real though, thank you. I appreciate this but I can't eat this by myself. Help me eat it before we have to go off to class and our busy schedules" he told her. "My busy schedule starts now. JJ asked me if I could bring him to an early AA session and I accepted" he was impressed that JJ is taking the steps to get better. "Wow. That's amazing for real. I'm glad that he wants to get help and if anybody can help him is you Liv" she gave him a side smile before kissing him on the cheek. "Will you come by tonight? Watch dumb movies and eat popcorn together?" He held her hand seeing her blush and nod. "I'd like that" she told him. "Aight then. Have a good day beautiful" he continued to make her blush. "You too" Olivia walked out of the room with a smile on her face.
