final thoughts

this has definitely been my most chaotic volume yet! we had the scariel wedding at the beginning (it doesnt feel like that in this one tbh), christmas, valentine's day, but most importantly, a hiatus!

ok, fair enough, this isn't the first time WSWE has been on hiatus. a few months after I started the fic, I went on hiatus from mid april until june. back when I went on that hiatus however, the fic was much smaller, both in size and in fanbase. I say this a lot, but there really arent very many readers on here, unlike on ao3, where it is my most popular fic at 71 kudos and 201 comments! I can't remember the exact figures or anything, but i'm pretty sure I had about 9 kudos and 3 comments. there were also only 33 chapters and the fic was still a daily thing. I hadn't even begun the wattpad volumes by that point. needless to say, the 2 hiatuses have been very different.

honestly, I must admit, this isn't exactly my favourite volume, however I really love some aspects of it! I absolutely loves the scariel wedding. it was wonderful to write and plan and just generally think about. hell, I even wrote it in my school homework planner. sometimes, I come across it and it makes me smile.

anyway, this fic volume has mostly been written through misery. sometimes, that can really improve the quality of my work, other times, it can ruin it. I think this time, it has ruined the work, though I hope it will be better for the next 20 chapters (this is the last week before half term anyway, so I will finally have the rest I need to produce good chapters! also, part of my misery is due to burnout and stuff, so a break is what I need. plus, this isn't a half term, it's a full term, so I get 2 weeks off!
