I moved. Ridding on the back of Nova my female ChangeLing. The two of us moved. Then. We saw Gustav. I cussed and moved. Hela!
"Nova! Move!" We took off. She went invisible and I did was well. Flying up and pushing Gustav and FangHook out of the way just in time. Arrows fired and I grunted as three hit me. One in my right thigh. Another into my left calf. And the third into my left shoulder. We in turn got shot down. Nova wrapped herself around me. Shielding me as we fell. Nova melted the net. And we escaped in the nick of time.I say down. Wrapping my left leg. My thigh and shoulder already wrapped. Leaving me in my shorts and bra. My dad sat in the house with me. "Alright. What's the mater." My eyes shot up. Glaring at my father.
"Am I really betrothed to Dagur!" He flinched. Then looked down. I looked at him. My glare as sharp as steel. "Really! To him of all people!" Dad again flinched. "... you weren't going to tell me... Where you?" He flinched again. Then he looked down. That was all I needed. He was never going to tell me. Not until it was far far to late. My heart clenched and I shot up. My sleeping dragons didn't notice a thing. And I stormed out of the house.
Ignoring the darkened sky.
Ignoring the thrashing shadows.
Ignoring the brightening moon.
Ignoring the slight cracks were my feet connected with the earth.
Ignoring the water rising.
Ignoring the rain beginning to fall.
Ignoring the fire licking at my hands.
Ignoring the frost forming after every step.
Ignoring my broken heart.
Ignoring the tears that wanted to fall.I sat down. In my normal spot. Curled up in a small ball. And I cried. I cried and cried and cried. My father had pretty much sold me for an alliance. Yes said alliance was broken but the monster of a man he pretty much sold me to still wanted me. And he was the type of man who didn't care what he had to do or who he had to hurt. If he wanted something he'd get it with any and all means necessary. After a while the tears went dry. And I sensed a dragon sit next to me. I didn't need to look up to know it was Azula. "Aren't you supposed to be gone?" My voice didn't hold it's usual power. The hidden growls and roars of dragons. No. It was the voice when my guard was down. Or. When I had no will at that moment.
Hela... you are far more important to me. You know I can't have hatchlings. So I adopted you as my own. When have I not been here when you needed me and I was in reach of you. I looked over to her. I spoke. My voice cracking.
"Azula. He practically sold me to Dagur." She flinched.
Ai but did you know he called it off the moment he saw how violent the man was. Oswald even agreed with it. This happened last year. And as a result. Dagur went berserk. To him his father and your father were taking what was his away. And Berserkers don't like what belongs to them being taken away. My voice returned at that.
"I belong to no one!" Azula looked at me.
Are you sure of that Hela. Because that mark on your back says otherwise. You belong to us dragons and we belong to you.
"THAT'S DIFFERENT AND YOU KNOW THAT!"
Yes. I do. I know you don't belong to anyone. But do the human males. There are many who want you as mate. And more are to come. None like Dagur and none like that nice boy Asger. I stared at her at that.
"Asger is my friend. He doesn't feel that way for me... does he?" She laughed.
Those poor boys. You know Hela. Your really really smart. But so dense. Asger and Heeth both like you. I mean really like you. That's part of the reason that they argue and fight so much. Now I was just staring at her.
"Let's. Let's not go there." She again laughed.I stood in front of my friends. Azula was sitting with me. She had decided to stay with me. It was cold and my father and I are talking again. That's when dad appeared and I had the chance to leave. So I hopped onto the back of SharpStorm and we went looking for Trader Johan I found him pretty easy. And began to fly back to Berk.
