I stared at the Monstrous Nightmare it moved and it stared at me. You do not fear me girl.
"No. I do not fear you." I ignored the collective she can talk and the two. My father and godfather saying you didn't know.
No? You are strange.
Then my father got impatient. The dragon attacked me, I may have screamed out of shock but soon I was fighting the dragon. Then SharpStorm, bless him the sweet dragon, appeared. Standing between me and the dragon. Drama presumed. Which resulted in him being caught. An argument with my father. Me letting it slip that I knew were the island is. Me going silent as he walked away. He didn't look back at me, not once, I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt. Because oh gods did it hurt, did he truly dislike me so?I. I just stared. I stared as SharpStorm was lowered onto my fathers ship. I watched as pretty much everyone left. Then I just stared at the sea. Ignoring Asger. Well. Until he spoke. I replied. "I won't kill a dragon. They're so much like us Asger. They're like us. They have emotion. They can speak. I can understand them."
"What you gonna do."
"Something crazy."I stared at the doors. I smirked when Asger asked for the plan. I looked back to them. "Just watch. You'll see." With that I turned on my heel. Released all the dragons. Then effectively tamed them. Parring them up. I paired Snotlout with the Monstrous Nightmare then doing the same with the rest. I glanced back. I could feel my twin sword resting on my back. My ax at my hip. My daggers on my thighs. My quiver at my other hip. My bow on my shoulder. "Well. Let's go."
I held onto Asger's waist for a few second as he flew on his new pet dragon. I ignored the screeching of the dragons around me. Fuck even the dragons were yelling at me that this was a terrible idea. I moved jumping to Fishlegs. Listening to him as he broke down the dragon. I ignored the Gronckle, Meatlug as Fishlegs named her. Then I jumped over to the twins. Landing on Barf and Beltch's back simply giving them orders followed before jumping to Snotlout landing on Hookfang's back and giving him orders as well. Before jumping to Asger. I pulled my bow from my shoulder and moved drawing an arrow and knocking it onto the string. The bow and it's arrows I designed and made on my own. I even painted them. I pulled back my string looked down the length of my arrow aimed at the Red Deaths eye and fired. It screeched in reply.
"Nice shot!" I glanced at my... friend? Asger was the same hight maybe a bit taller then Fishlegs he was tall lean and well built covered in muscles. He had long blonde hair pulled into a low ponytail some of his hair covered left his eye. He dropped me off near the ship SharpStorm was on. I moved. Running onto the ship. I easily jumped the gap between the land and ship. Running up to my dragon and kneeling down next to him. His ears twitched as he stared at me. I smiled and moved. Looking at his chain. Then fire enfolded the ship. We ended up falling I cussed and moved yanking at the chain only for my father to yank and drag me up. He dived in and got SharpStorm who in turn brought him up. I moved. Ready Hela.
"You got it." I looked at my father. Smiling at him before taking off. The only thing I heard was him telling me he was proud. We caught Asger before he hit the ground then attacked the Red Death. Goading her to fly. I took her up. Up. Up. Turning and shooting arrows or throwing fire at her.Once we were high enough I shot fire along side SharpStorm. Until she grew annoyed. Ever time I hit close enough I shot at her eyes with an arrow. After blinding four of her six eyes we dived. After a while, a very long while, we flipped and we both fired. Your an amazing human Hela. I looked at him. Over the past few days we gained a bond.
"And you are an amazing dragon SharpStorm." With that we fired our last attack my red hair fell out of its ponytail. It whipped around and was the same exact length as SharpStorm. From head to tail. We moved up. Trying to dodge the fire. But the tail whacked us. Fire licked at my skin. As I passed out from the blow. The last thing I heard was SharpStorm screaming out to me.
HELA!My eyes opened, and my hand moved on it's own. Bandages wrapped around my head, my arms, my torso, and my legs. I leaned up and felt something missing. My eyes stared at my missing leg. A prosthetic leg in its place. My leg was gone from an inch above the knee down. I didn't need to look at my face to see I had a burn scar across the left side of my face. From my hair line down my neck I looked down. It covered my entire left upper side. There was a smaller burn on my right side from the top of my ear down my shoulder to my elbow. Another burn from my right hip down to what's left of my leg. But one thought filled my mind. I'm so making a new leg.
My eyes glanced at SharpStorm who was resting his head on my stomach. Staring at me. "Hi Storm." His head shot up. Tail begain to wag and he attacked me with kisses.
Hela! Your awake.
"How long was I out."
Weeks! Realization hit me there and then.
"Umm. Why are you in my house."
Your dad let me in. Oh come on everybody is waiting for you!
"Hold your horses!"In the end I went outside. With SharpStorms help. We talked. Asger kissed me. Dad chased after him. Yelling threats as he laughed and ran. I just raised my brow and looked to Gobber, who was gritting his teeth, in confusion. Before shaking my head and looking at SharpStorm who looked like he wanted to set something on fire. Then Gobber handed me a new tail for SharpStorm. "Wow. It's beautiful."
I walked in the forest with SharpStorm. Until I heard a Rustle. It sounded like a branch breaking. I looked up to see a broken branch. Scratch that. A lot of broken branches I moved. Only to gasp at the sight. For there on the ground was a dying Night Fury. Resting in its arms was a baby DeadlyNadder NightFury hybrid. My baby.
"Shhh hey it's okay." I moved. Breaking out of my shock and moving. "Let me help."
No... My baby... Protect my baby. She looked at me. Please. I nodded. I nodded and grabbed the baby dragon.
No! Mama!
"Shuu shu."
