'yep, just another peaceful day' thought sans as he was relaxing in the his mansion, which was mostly empty as he was the only one living in it at the moment, he used to share his mansion with papyrus but he decided to go to collage and pursue higher education so he moved out and now only he the funny bone man remained here.
He had thrown a few get togethers with his friends over the years they had now spent out of the underground, 'those were some good times' he thought to himself, many things had changed after they had left like how alphys and undyne had married at a beach, the Dreemur's had reunited in holy matrimony, or how the kid had somehow been able to revive Chara and Asriel (he had actually provided chara with some therapy and it seemed to have helped her), or how they had fought that weird lady with a pink soul .
but beside that it was pretty peaceful for him throughout his life( except for all the multiverse stuff he got involved in), he had helped out with expanding the cores reach and also helped sometimes with the maintenance of the core due to..... prior experience with it, but with the money the helping out with the construction had netted quite the fortune especially after his recently set up restaurant chain had blown up in popularity, (the main food of course being hotdogs and hot cats, as well as some burgers and fries).
He really was living the life no longer fearing that any day it could all be reset, after all this time it felt like the promise of no resets had been kept up, but he always had that small nagging fear at the very back of his skull, that things would just go back to zero.
He kept the thought of lazing about after doing some paperwork for the company as he slowly started to head off to dream land.

"SANS WAKE UP" said a very familiar voice, 'no it can't be...can it?' sans thought as he opened his eyes and was met with the familiar celling of his old room in snowdin 'well couldn't keep yourself from doing it could ya kid' sans thoug- "SANS?" papyrus said, "coming paps" said sans as he donned his blue sweater and headed down to meet papyrus to have breakfast.

Sans had yet again walked behind the human approaching them and soon had stopped right behind them as the too stopped in front of the too wide gate "d o n ' t y o u k n o w h o w t o g r e a t a n e w p a l, T u r-" and before they could even finish his old spiel the kid had already grabbed his hand and the whopee cushion fired off to a responding laugh from the ki- no wait after now looking at the human they did not seen like they had every other time they had met at this point they looked... older, this was new and maybe it had something to do with how old they were when they reset on the surface, at the time they were 24-
but before sans could have more time for thinking about his new situation frisk had embraced them in a hug , sans was startled a bit but did not show it and had decided to hug back, "well kid if you did this just for a hug of all things" sans said, Frisk now looking a little guilty said "well we can't all have most the day to lazy off and I did this for more than just that", "oh really" said sans as he disengaged from the hug "well I have my reason, a skele- ton of them" she said before sans could even say anything she had said something that was quite alarming "bone daddy" she said in a sultry tone then before he could say or do anything frisk had firmly plated their hand on the sides of his skull pulled him close to her own face... and kissed him.
This of course made sans quickly teleport out of there out of pure shock and confusion, 'why had the kid reset, why did the kid look older, and why had they proceeded to flirt with and kiss me' sans thought to himself as he now stood next tot the sentry post nearby waiting for the kid to show up and maybe get answers.
Frisk had wanted to do that for a while, she had slowly discovered her feelings for the skeleton throughout the years of her life and lamented at the wasted opportunities she could have had with him, even though he would probably never accept due to only seeing her only as a kid had believed in (and also to an extent feared), but she thought that maybe if she had another shot that she could maybe have had a life with the skeleton (which would not be true if she had reset under normal circumstances and would have probably never come true if a certain someone had done something at the time) but know with and older body she could most likely win the affection of the pun loving skeleton
'ahem!' a voice said to her as she looked at her spirit (for the moment compatriot, chara hovered over the bridge that they had been standing next to "Well" frisk said, 'Well partner I was just thinking to remind you of the deal we had',ah yes... that deal, it was not just frisk who had wanted to gain Sans's affections but chara too had wanted a part of sans as after her years on the surface had some therapy and help from sans had chara back on her feet (in a metaphorical sense) and also started a passion for the pun loving skeleton that she later learned frisk shared the passion she had.
Both had sadly realized that the skeleton would probably never feal the same way, until something happened, everything reset out of nowhere and they had somehow kept their age during it, now as adults in the underground they thought that they had more of a chance to seduce sans (somehow) and had also decided to share sans, after frisk had helped chara regain a body.
Even though this plan would probably fail they somehow thought it would work, and together they were scarily Determined
Little did either of them know the reason that the reset had occurred in the first place was due to a certain elder glitch god and that it was not just their universe affected by all of this but the entire multiverse as well was affected as their timelines reset and their anomalies (human, monster, robot in some cases, etc.) had, changed, for the lack of a better word.
