(MikuRin) Idol Love

Context: Basically this whole song, Miku and Rin are adults exhausted from the fake love from their exes and go out for a drink. Therefore they fall in love with each other and hook up. (I'm not adding the mature parts, I'm rewriting this as they confess to each other rather than confess doing that.)

Miku, a notorious popstar aged 23. It had been years since she'd had a break from all that paparazzi. The celebrity scandals and romances she had were all fake and she needed a break from it all. She had one boyfriend. She usually relied on him to make up for the love she had never had, along with the fake kisses...they never even got that far. The green haired idol lay in her bed in messy pajamas, watching the man, her "boyfriend" leave. She'd dumped him even knowing that he was only with her for fame.

Here is the context of the once young idol's love life. There was no love to be found, no matter the rumours about her looks and voice.

Miku grimaced, putting the covers over her and taking out her phone. Since she'd already removed her ex's items from her house, she started texting her close friend, Rin (who also worked beside Miku) about it. 

Miku: Hey Rin! Just dumped my boyfriend..lol.

Rin: Miku!! Hey girl!!

Rin: As expected, thankfully the paparazzi doesn't know about that! I know you didn't even like him at the start. You wanna go out for drinks? I know a great place.

Miku: ^^ Sure! I need to loosen up. I'll meet you there at 7:00, alr?

Rin: You bet! Cya! <3

Miku smiled. She pushed her hair against her ear. Besides her friends Luka or MEIKO, Rin was almost always there. During her idol days, it was fun and bright...but now it makes a real sense, she decided to give herself a break from working so much. Miku checked the time as it was 6:15 pm. She trudged from her bed already forcing herself to forget the fake warmth of the house when her ex was there.

Miku opened her closet and walked inside. There were countless clothes from her idol days. She was quite rich from the numerous hits and sales she had. Her curly hair, now in low pigtails, followed her along while she walked, searching for the right outfit. Miku's eyes caught a mini teal cocktail dress. Mei Mei had given it to her on her 20th birthday. Maybe Miku could seem...attractive to Rin? It was just some drinks. She took it out. After coming out of the closet and already determined to change, her makeup and hair were no problem as she knew how to do quick changes for a reason!

Kagamine Rin, aged 21.

Before, a young idol who had done concerts with her close friend and younger brother... Kagamine Len.

Rin had a similar experience to Miku's, although Miku didn't know that Rin's only love was Miku herself! As Miku texted Rin about this love affair she had had as a result of feeling lonely, Rin was convinced she would confess to Miku. She'd treat Miku better than any other guy. She'd treat Miku the way she deserves.

She arrived at the bar two steps ahead of Miku. The table was set, the setting was perfect, and the drinks were ready. They were going to have a blast tonight and either leave as lovers... or go back to square one as friends. Rin couldn't hide these feelings anymore and needed to confess. What Miku needed was love, and Rin had plenty of it. Rin recently cut her hair short. Her bow was smaller and darker, placed sideways. She looked more mature after being around MEIKO. Her outfit today (rather than her large collection of different idol outfits) was a more casual outfit that was suitable for hanging out at night. Chic hoodie made from high quality designers and paired with bold shorts. Rin adjusted her outfit, staring at the door awaiting Miku. She was nervous, but kept her cool once she noticed the door opening. Miku waved, smiling at Rin making her heart beat faster. Rin waved back, leaning on the table and pulling out a seat for Miku. Miku looked so stylish and cute in her cocktail dress. Rin clenched her chest to prevent her heart from falling out of her chest. "God...she's so pretty." Rin muttered under her breath, fantasizing about running her fingers through her crush's curly hair.

Miku sat down, placing two hands on the table and brightly smiling, "Hey girl! It's really amazing to see you again in person." Miku put her hands on Rin's hands. "I have SO much to tell you." Rin looked up and looked at Miku's hands, smiling and blushing. "S-sure! You can tell me anything. I love hearing anything you say." Miku looked away, blushing a bit and lifting her chin up looking directly at Rin. "Well, as you know...ever since we were idols love has been tough because of the constant paparazzi. We're way older now and it's sad to see we still need a break from those creeps in love with us."

Rin agreed, knowing their situation too well. "I understand that. Love is a complicated thing! Isn't it?" Miku sighed, putting a hand on her cheek staring at the drink Rin ordered for the two of them. "I really want to forget him. It's all fake." She had a sad smile, "Let's have a toast for a reborn hope, hm?" She took the drink lifting it up for Rin to clink her glass. Rin clinked back, "Let's." They both drank. They sighed as they faced a sad but neutral future. Being younger seemed easier, there were not that many worries...but then again they didn't really understand love being so young at the time. "Aside from ALL the love songs I've sung..." Miku stared at her drink. "I want love now!" She chugged another glass as Rin tried to slow her down. "Hey. Look!" Rin perked up, touching her hand in comfort. "Maybe there's a chance. Like, right here."

"What do you mean..?" Miku blushed slightly at the touch.

"Right here, Miku." Rin was about to confess. She embraced Miku's hand and looked into her eyes.

"Remember the romance songs we sang together, like we were a couple?"

"Now that you mention it...yes?" She raised her eyebrow, looking confused. "What are you getting at?" She blushed. "Miku..I'm trying to say that..WE should be a couple!" Rin flustered, looking away. "I've liked you all these years Miku. You're my close friend and I didn't want to ruin this bond." Rin felt guilty, slowly scooching her drink away and letting go of her hold. "I'm really sorry... It was too soon." Miku sat in silence, blinking. "Wait..what..?" The drinks might've gotten to her, she was now hearing stuff. (Not drunk.)

"Look..I..um, need to go." Rin got up, "S-Sorry." She took her bag. "I had already paid." Rin couldn't face Miku after this sudden confession. Without looking back, Rin opened the door and ran away from the bar with Miku calling after her.
