The Journey Ahead

8. A Rivalry?

The bell rang to take everybody's attention..

Naina and Kajal really needed no argument after they saw Aryan literally ordering them. They went upto the place where they usually see Atifa waiting for her brothers. But that means Atifa will be there with them. As soon as this thought crossed they start freaking out. Bet, they ever wanted to go with someone like Atifa.

"I am not going to sit on the same car as Atifa. You are injured and you need to reach home safely. So go with them. I will manage myself anything. Atleast I don't want sit with that little freak.", Kajal finally ended up her long speech. "What do you mean you will not go by the car? I won't be going anywhere without you. Mark my words", Naina said. Just then Naina and Kajal saw Aryan coming there. Before Kajal could object Aryan ordered them not to speak much and do as he was saying.

With many disturbance going on in her mind Kajal finally went to the car which Aryan had with Naina. As Naina's knees were badly injured Kajal requested Aryan to make Naina sit beside the drivers place which Aryan didn't mind and did as Kajal requested him. Making Naina seat in her place Kajal went behind and settled on the back seat. But for the first time she couldn't find Ayaan though Aryan was there. God knows where is Ayaan. And so was Atifa, as she found Atifa was not also there in the car. Atifa's disappearance didn't make any difference to Kajal but Ayaan's did. She started wondering where must he be while the car started and their trip also.

The trip was definitely awkward for both Naina and Aryan. Aryan didn't let that show on his face but Naina's face held that nervousness she is bearing. While in the meantime both Naina and Kajal were happy to be without Atifa. They were curious enough to know where was she but didn't dared to ask it to Aryan.

After few minutes the car halted near a street which was much crowded. Just after waiting for few more minutes Naina found Ayaan standing on the opposite foot. He was talking over his phone while his hand was gripping something or to be precise somebody's hand. Naina looked at it closely. It was a girl but who Naina wanted to know. And after staring at them for a good minutes she realized that the girl was no one but their second biggest enemy Maria. Naina suddenly got angry. It felt so wrong to her. She knows Kajal feels something for Ayaan which she never felt for anyone else. She looked back at Kajal who was sleeping in her sitting position on the back seat. She thanked to god that Kajal didn't seen any of these. She really didn't wanted her sister to bear the same pain which she felt seeing Manaav with that Atifa.

Meanwhile she looked back and found Aryan busy on his phone. This many things are going on her head and here this janaab is busy on his phone. "Aren't you always busy on your phone??" Naina asked Aryan. Aryan looked up from his phone and stared at her. Not caring much Aryan resumed watching his phone again. "Your brother has a girlfriend?"Naina suddenly asked Aryan. "Why are you so curious with me and my brother?" Aryan questioned back. "No. I am just curious about you.", Naina said frankly. "What!"Aryan asked being shocked. "Nothing" Naina said realizing what she just said. Aryan looked up and saw Naina looking out of the window. He followed her gaze and found Ayaan standing with Maria. "Maybe. I haven't seen this girl with him before. I mean there was someone else the other day." Aryan said casually. While Naina looked at him with shocking eyes.

With all these going on Ayaan came to the car alone and sat at back with Kajal who was still in a deep slumber in between all these chaos going on. Naina would have been really happy to see Ayaan sitting beside Kajal. But she wasn't atleast not after what Aryan said. How many girlfriend he has? This question arouse in her mind. Ayaan seemed to know that they will be there in the car.

Kajal finally getting disturbed opened her eyes. And what she saw next made her smile broadly. Ayaan was sitting next to her what else could make her happy. "Hii" said Ayaan who was busy staring out of the window. "Umm..Hello." Kajal replied much nervously. Ayaan just smiled seeing her nervousness. Meanwhile Naina was saying Aryan their address.
