33. The Reunion

Few days later

"Bhaiya. You can't do like this. You are going to meet your friends too." Atifa whined. "I have work Atu. You know the condition of the company right." Aryan said fixing his watch. "Ayaan bhaiya is also coming in the afternoon. Please let's go na together. Naina and Kajal will also be there." Atifa said with the puppy eyes.

Aryan closed his eyes to suppress his wild thoughts. 'Naina'. The word that is disturbing his mind for the past few days. He knows that she will be there that's why he didn't want to go the school reunion.

Aryan turned around to Atifa and cupped her cheeks and said "If I could I would have obviously made plans of going to the reunion. But there are reasons Atu which I can't tell you. You enjoy with your friends. And Ayaan will be there. And don't be late. Come back home fast. Okay. I am getting late. Bye." Saying this he took his phone and went out of the room ignoring Atifa.

Atifa went back to her room. It's currently 10 in the morning. They have plans to reach the school by 12:30. She has made plans with Naina and Kajal. It was Sunday. So most probably the Malhotra sisters are in home. Without much thought she called Kajal who received the call in a few seconds.

"Helloo" It was Kajal's voice.

"Hi. Are you guys getting ready." asked Atifa.

"Who is it. Put the call on speaker" It was Naina's voice. Probably she came back from somewhere. "It's Atifa." Kajal said.

"Hi Atifa." Naina  wished.

"Hi. Am I disturbing you. Are you both getting ready." Atifa said.

"No. I was just waiting for Naina to get out of the shower so that I can go and have a bath. She took 50 minutes to take the shower. And here she is now. Now you say when will I get ready."

Atifa laughed hearing this and Naina glared at Kajal from the other side.

"Atifa. You don't listen to her. Tell what are you wearing today." Naina asked.

"I am confused. I have choose some of them. Maybe I will wear one of them. But I'm confused which one to wear."

"What about those dresses that you bought from the mall?"

"Yeah I'm talking about that only. I bought 3 one piece, 1 cargo, 1 jeans and 4 tops. I am thinking of what to wear among them. I have few clothes from earlier also which I haven't wore. They are fully new. I have got so many options. And I'm confused now." Atifa whined.

Naina laughed through the phone call and said "You send the pictures to me of your dresses you are intending to wear. I'm choosing one for you. That will be okay I guess."

"That will be great. I'm sending the pictures right away. Wait."

Saying this Atifa hung up the call.

After a lot of discussion the dress was chosen for the three friends. Atifa was going to wear a white crop top pairing with the blue jeans. Her bag was also chosen which was pastel pink in colour. Naina was wearing a black crop top pairing with a beige colour pants and Kajal is going to wear a black knee length  dress.

After few hours

The door bell of the Malhotra Mansion rang indicating the presence of Atifa. A servan quickly opened the door and went upstairs to call for Naina and Kajal.

"Beta. Your friend has come. She is waiting for you both downstairs." The makd said. "Tell her we are coming." Kajal said and looked at her appearance for the last time on the mirror before calling Naina who was taking her sling bag.

They went downstairs and saw Atifa sitting on the sofa texting someone furiously. Hearing the sound of the sisters descending the stairs Atifa dropped the phone on the sofa and went to give the sisters a hug.
