It's the Monday morning and Naina and Kajal's first day at their new workplace. Obviously both them are excited. New seniors, new colleagues and obviously new interns and their juniors who is going to work under them.
They woke up at nearly 7 in the morning. After having their morning chores they got ready with their outfit.
Naina was wearing her watch when Kajal said while combing her hair. "I think they forgot." "Who forgot and what??" Naina asked confused by her sister's statement. "I think Mom and papa forgot about that marriage thing." Kajal explained. "Naah. I don't think so. I don't think they will easily forget about this thing. But still for the time being it's out of thier mind." Naina said.
"But what about our Bole Chudiyaan dance on our sangeet. If we don't get married then where we will dance." Kajal whined. "What.. You just want to get married just to dance on Bole Chudiyaan. Idiot." Naina commented on her sister's foolish talks. "Heyy. I am not idiot." Kajal said. Just as Naina about to say something they heard thier mom's call from downstairs, telling them that the breakfast is ready.
After spraying some perfume both of them retreated towards the dining hall after carrying their bag.
Some servants were serving them the food when their dad said "So are you both excited about your first day." "Very much papa." Naina said while Kajal is already engrossed in her aloo paratha. "How will you go. I'll tell Shyam to drop you both at your office." Now it was their mom. "No mumma we will drive and go there. And we will take one of the cars." Kajal said.
After that they had their breakfast without much more conversation and now they are inside their car. Naina was driving while Kajal was in the passenger seat. The traffic in the busy Mumbai street phone was irritating Naina. The song Attention by Charlie Puth is currently playing in the sound system which was connected through Kajal's phone.
It was 30 mins car distance but it took near about 50 mins to reach their destination. There were before time so they reached their office at the correct time. They both were welcomed warmly by thier juniors who offered them a pack of dry fruits and a bouquet.
"A very welcome to both the Ms. Malhotras" chirped a lady who was at her mid forties "Thank you." the sisters replied back. "I am Raina Kapoor. I am head of the Mumbai the branch. I heard a lot about you two from Aarav. So I'll first show you both your cabins." She said and thr sisters followed her.
They came here as a Head Software Architect and AI engineer. As they were passing by the cubicles. They heard some girls whispering about them while some just stared. Well it was not knew for them. Their father is the CEO of a reputed bank. And them being his daughter always falls under the limelight of the press and social media.
During their teenage all believed that they would stay with their parents, spending their money and will get married to a certain rich guy and will spend their money also. But they proved all of them wrong. Their parents believed in them and moreover they believed themselves. And now they are at their peak of success.
"These are your cabins." Raina said. Their cabins were large and spacious. There was huge glass window covering a whole wall. The cabin had a huge mahogany table with a leather chair. It also had a comfortable couch. They were provided with a personal laptop aand all other electronic gadgets needed.
While they both were looking at the interiors Raina said, "Here is the remote. You can create a partition between your cabins. And you can also remove it when needed." Naina took the remote and placed it on the table. "Also to inform that you can also work from home if you want. As you already know you have to work under the company 40 hours per week. So it's your choice how you will do that. So good luck and have a good day" Raina wished them with a professional smile and went outside.
Naina and Kajal looked at each other both amused about their new workplace. After few minutes a girl came and wished them. "Good morning ma'am. I am Aliya. Riana Ma'am sent me to inform you both about our new project." "Please have seat." Kajal said and she sat down while forwarding them their individual papers.
They talked about their new project for some time until she took her to meet those who going to work under them. There were many. Some seems that they are comfortable while others were hesitant around them while some were giving them "you don't deserve to be here" looks. But they didn't care. They have work under them weather willingly or unwillingly.
It was nearly evening. And it's time for them to go home. They have to work near about 5 hours a day. If they want to work for 7 whole days. Obviously they want holidays so they aren't going to work on Sundays. So they have to work more than 5 hours a day. But as it's there first day so they didn't load themselves and decided to go back home.
Malhotra Mansion
"Mom. Papa. We arrived." Kajal chirped as they entered their home. "Ayee. Mera bachha. You both are hungry right. I am frying nuggets for you. Go and get fresh and come downstairs." Nandini said. "Make a cup of coffee for me mom. This headache is killing me." Naina said while going upstairs.
After good 15 minutes they came downstairs and sat in front of their TV to watch something. Nandini and Aditya came sat with them. "So how was your first day?" their dad asked. "It's good papa. They also told us we can work from home." Naina said. "Then it's very good. In the morning me and your mom was planning to go for some vacation. Where do you both want to go." "Vacation. Dad let's go to a hill station. It's been long we went out for a vacation together." Kajal said being excited. "How about Shillong. The weather will be also nice there." Naina suggested. "Yeah. Let's go there only. I can also check tmy NGO there. It's been long I visited there." their mom said. "Great then. Let me bring my laptop. We will book our tickets today only." Kajal said and went upstairs to bring her laptop.
"So papa. We can go on Friday. There are few tickets still left." Kajal said while focusing on her laptop screen. "So book the tickets then." their mom said.
After typing on her laptop for sometimes she looked up and said. "Done. Friday. 5pm. Way to Shillong." "Woohoo. I am so excited. We will be going somewhere after so many days." Naina said smiling at her happy family.

Sighing heavily and picked up the call. He didn't utter a word in their whole conversation at their phone call. After whole 5 mins he cut the call. His brother asked "What happened?" He replied,
"It's about mom."
