Y/N'S POV

In the morning after the Sullys had settled in, me,Tsireya, Ao'ung and Roxto went to go and collect the two brothers and two sisters.

"Come on!" I shouted before diving graciously into the ocean. I love the way of the water. I have a connection with it. I feel I can trust it, like no one else.

Tsireya, Ao'ung and Roxto followed me into the water. I looked up and saw the two brothers jumping into the water messily, followed by the two sisters. We waited for them as the looked around at the beautiful underwater nature and creatures. Kiri looked like she also had a strong connection with the water even though she had only been in it for a few seconds. We started swimming again and then me and Tsireya looked back to see where they were, we saw the brothers pointing at us signalling that they should catch up. Me and Tsireya smiled at each other and then carried on swimming. After a few minutes we saw that they went back up to the surface, Tsireya looked at me confused then used our underwater language to tell them to 'swim with us'.

I knew that they wouldn't know our language yet so I tapped Tsireya's arm and signed to her 'They won't know the language yet, sister.' Then I looked up and waved my arm to tell them to join us.

After a little while they arose to the surface again and Ao'ung signed, 'What's wrong with them?'

'They are bad divers.' Roxto replied.

'Stop.' I signed, 'They are learning.'

Ao'ung rolled his eyes. We went up to the surface to talk to them, we weren't sure why they kept disappearing.

"Are you alright?" sister asked.

"Your too fast! Wait for us!" Tuk replied while wiping her eyes.

"Just breathe. Breathe." I replied.

I saw Lo'ak looking at me again. His eyes are a perfect shade of yellow. Why am I talking about this now?! I have people to teach!

Ao'ung emerged from the water. "You are not good divers, maybe good at swimming through trees but-"  Me and Tsireya both hit him to shut up and his face went from laughter to blank. He's so annoying.

"Come on bro. We don't speak this finger talk." Neteyam said while waving his fingers around. "We don't know what your saying."

"I will teach you." Tsireya replied while smiling and looking deeply into Neteyam's eyes. He was smiling at her back. They definitely have something for each other.

I smiled at Lo'ak but he looked frustrated. He obviously didn't want to disappoint everyone. I kicked his leg under the water so he would look at me and I gave him the 'you will be okay' look. He gave me a slight smile.

After that we all broke out into 'where's Kiri' and 'Kiri?' because we realised she wasn't with us.

Lo'ak's POV

We were now going to be taught something else, we were closer to shore and Ao'ung was making some strange clicking noises with his mouth to the water. To be honest I had no idea what he was doing but I just went along with it.

Mysterious creatures swam around him and he said, "These are Ilu. If you want to live here, you have to ride."  Doesn't seem to hard.

Y/N'S POV

Me and Tsireya helped Lo'ak get on the Ilu.

"Make the bond gently." I said. He grabbed his braid and gently made the bond with the Ilu. Just like I said.

"Feel his breath. Feel his strength." Tsireya said quietly. She probably wanted to be helping Neteyam instead.

"Hold here." I said while gently placing his hand on the grip. He looked in my eyes. I didn't know what to do, I felt something.

Ao'ung and Roxto mocked him before he dove into the water with confidence. We put our heads under the water and saw him struggling to stay on, he fell off not so graciously. I looked at Tsireya while we tried to hide our laughter. Although Ao'ung and Roxto didn't hide theirs.

Lo'ak's POV

Me, Y/N, Tsireya, Kiri, Ao'ung and Neteyam sat in a circle on a rock island while we were taught the way to breathe better underwater.

"Breathe in and breathe out" Y/N
instructed as we all followed her, she is so calm and collected.

"Imagine flickering a flame, you must slow down your heartbeat."

She placed her hands on my chest and now I was freaking out!

"Breathe in, breathe from down here, breathe out slowly." she instructed with her hands still planted onto my chest. I tried to look in her eyes but her eyes were focused on her hands.

"Lo'ak your heartbeat is fast." she said.

"Sorry." I replied. She was now looking me. Great Eywa I could drown in her eyes.

"Try to focus."

"Okay."

I saw Neteyam and Ao'ung quickly laughing to one another. BRO!!
