Y/N'S POV

It was the morning after Kiri had the seizure. Like I thought, my mum cured Kiri. Me, Neytiri and Tuk kneeled next to Kiri while it was happening and when she woke up she started to cry. We all gave her a hug and then me and mum left so they could be alone. I decided to go and see Kiri and ask how she was feeling. I walked into the hut and Kiri was sitting on the floor, zoned out. I walked over and sat down next to her and it took her out of her day dream.

"Hi." I said. "Hey." She replied back quietly. "How are you feeling?" I asked. "Better." She replied. "That's good. Do you...need me to do anything??" I said. I don't think this conversation is going to go anywhere. "No. I'm fine thanks." She said. I nodded and stood up and started walking away.

"Wait." I heard from behind me. I turned round, "Can I tell you something y/n?" I went and sat back down next to her. "Of course, anything."

"When I made the connection the other day, I saw my mother. She hugged me and it felt so real. I asked her 'why am I so different?' and 'who is my father?' but then her facial expression changed and she got pulled away from me.... I tried to reach out to her but she was already gone. I think after that I had the seizure." She confessed. I didn't know how to respond. She was tearing up so I just had to support her. "I'm sure everything will be found out soon. The mind is a confusing place." I said while putting my arm round her. "Yeah." She said.

"I feel really connected to ewya. I can feel and hear her heartbeat within me." She said. "What does it sound like?" I asked.

"Mighty." She said.

Lo'ak's POV

It was about midday when I heard y/n and Tsireya going around and shouting, "The tulkuns have returned! Everyone, our brothers and sisters have returned!" Tuk then came rushing in. "Kiri! Lo'ak! Neteyam! Come on!" She exclaimed while grabbing my hands and trying to pull me up. "Okay!!" I said while laughing slightly. Kiri and Neteyam both the stood up and Neteyam said to me, "Me and Kiri will take Tuk. You can go flirt with y/n." While he was saying that he nudged me and smirked. Bro.

"Wait, you like y/n?!" Kiri asked/exclaimed also while smirking. DUDE! SERIOUSLY, WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK I LIKE HER?! I MEAN I KINDA DO BUT YOU KNOW!

Tuk then also decided to join in by saying, "That pretty metkayina girl?"

'Pretty' is definitely the way to describe her.

"Which one?" I heard Neteyam say under his breath. Wait a damn minute. "What did you just say Neteyam?" I said. Now I was the one with a smirk on my face while his eyes were wide open. "Nothing." He replied back. "Sureeeee." I said while he rolled his eyes.

We walked out of the hut and then I saw
y/n in the water with her Ilu. "Lo'ak! Come and meet my tulkun!!" She shouted to me while smiling. Our eyes locked and I couldn't help but to smile as well. "Bye guys." I said and then immediately ran and jumped into the water. I called out to my Ilu and he came straight away. We started travelling through the water so I could meet her tulkun.

I looked to my side so I could see her. She's so beautiful. I don't know if she thinks of me the same though. What if she likes Neteyam or someone else. But what if she likes me. I don't know. This is too confusing for now. I will think about it later.
