"Never seen anything quite like you"

Chapter 1

Hi guys so this is my first fanfic, the script are my favourite band and yeah I hope you enjoy :) please comment and tell me if you like it as I've never done anything like this. None of this is real just made up :)

Lacey POV
So my name is Lacey, I'm 19 and I go to a school called Sunshine. Yeah lame I know I mean sunshine sounds like a primary school. Ah anyway it's a good school so I don't mind. Today I don't have school though as it is a Saturday, in my free time I like to sing,listen to music and draw. So yeah there's some info on my life.

I asked my boyfriend Matt earlier if he wanted to do anything as I had nothing planned, but he was busy with something or other I think he said going to a charity event? I don't know when he told me I was staring into his dreamy eyes so I got distracted. So I decided to go to the cafe with my laptop and chill out for a while.

When I arrived it was very busy, I just sat down on the sofas and got comfy listening to my favourite band (the script, they are amazing and the best band in the world, just saying!) they made me so happy in a way sometimes my friends couldn't make me feel.
"When a heart breaks, no it don't breakeven.." I was singing a song by the script called breakeven I loved to sing and I loved the script. I hoped no one would hear but a waitress did when she was coming over with my tea.
"Your a really good singer!" announced the waitress.
"Ah why thank you!" I replied cheerfully.
I started to draw a picture of Dan, mark and Glen as I sipped at my tea that then burned my mouth.
"oww" I whispered quietly to myself.

DING
My eyes quickly drifted towards the door as three men entered, one tall with dark brown hair, the next bald, and the other with brown hair.
They all looked very familiar I thought to myself.
"Wait...is tha-"..
I stopped myself, my eyes had caught the sight of Matt. Outside the cafe with.. No it couldn't be? It was. There stood my boyfriend kissing one of my best friends; Amy.
I was angry but hurt I ran over to them with tears streaming down my face.
"How could you!?" I shouted at Matt and Amy.
They looked at each other in shock.
I ran I didn't care what they had to say.
"Wait...lace-" he stammered
"Leave me alone Matt" I said shakily before running back into the cafe to get my laptop and then running out again. I wanted to get away from all this, why would my best friend betray me? And Matt, we had been together 2 years! That obviously meant nothing to him.

I started to run before someone grabbed my arm pulling me back.
Who was it I thought. I turned round to see Danny O'donoghue. Wow it had been long since I had seen him, last time was when I stayed round my nans in Dublin. I remember those days, Danny used to look after me if my nan had to go out. Haha I thought to myself, that was funny times.

"Lacey, what's up?" my idol questioned
"Matt...He cheated.. With my best friend" I said, tears streaming down my face even more.
"Lacey come here" he said before pulling me into a hug,
"It will be okay" Dan stated, he truly looked sad too, he was so comforting I never wanted to let go.
"I don't know what to do now" I said, the tears didn't stop but I wiped them away trying to look strong and pretend I was okay.
"Lace, do you want me to drive you home?" He asked, he was obviously worried about me driving in this state. Slowly I nodded my head agreeing.
"Come on then let's go" he announced before dragging me to where his car was.

We got in the car in silence neither one of us knowing what to say.
"Thanks Danny"
He didn't reply but I saw him smile from the corner of my eye.
My eyes quickly drifted to in front of us, looked like a bad car crash.
"Wait.. That's-" I said before running out the car. Tears poured down my face once again, it was my parents and my little sisters. Earlier that day they had asked if I wanted to go to this show with them but politely I said no as I wasn't really interested. They must have been on their way home and.. this happened.
" no, why them!!" I sobbed
Before a pair of long arms wrapped round me,
"Shhh shhh lace it's gonna be okay" Danny said trying to comfort me.
The tears didn't stop, I didn't think they ever would at this point. I had no words I wanted to see them but the police man stopped me.
"I'm gonna take her home" announced Danny to a police officer.
Danny had to drag me to the car as I didn't want to leave. Just why them? That's what I couldn't stop questioning in my head.
We drove off going home I just wanted to cry and cry so the pain would go away, but i knew it wasn't possible.

We got back to my house, I didn't know what to do I hesitated before sitting on the sofa next to Danny. I took one look in his eyes and burst out crying again he must have thought I was such an idiot.
"Lacey, look at me" Danny said
I looked and stared into his eyes.
"I'm always here you know? An..and well I'll be going on tour soon and I know it's a lot but I was wondering well if you wanted to..you could come on tour with us?"
I was speechless, he was right it was a lot to take in.. and was I ready?
