⇝―I need both days, because the bachelorette party will be tomorrow and the wedding the next day ―Jimin explained to his boss, detailing the reasons why he would have to be absent those days.
―I understand ―he huffed wistfully. ―How envious... ―he rested his elbow on the counter and his cheek in his fist. ―At least, you have an interesting life, you get invited to parties and you can get drunk without guilt, while I... ―he let out an exaggerated sigh. ―I forgot the last time I had a date, even... I don't have any friends, and boyfriend... Pft! ―he laughs sadly. ―Nothing to say... all of them are morons, jealous or unfaithful.
―She only invited me because I'm her brother ―the delivery guy downplayed, feeling bad for his boss. ―I don't even have a date for the wedding... Can you believe it? ―he tried to empathize. ―Is there anything more pathetic than arriving at a wedding without a partner?
―I'd be happy to go with you, but... I have to work ―he twisted his smile. ―If I don't work, I don't pay the bills in this place.
―I know, hyung ―Jimin inevitably looked out the window, towards the flower shop. ―Will you be okay without a delivery guy?
―It'll only be two days... ―he waved his hand away, dismissing it. ―Bon Apettite will survive.
―Thank you ―he bowed and Seokjin shook his head. Jimin is his best employee.
The next day, and just as he had thought, Jimin decided to fulfill the promise made to his sister, to give her the most beautiful bouquet to wear on her wedding day. Only in one place could he find what he was looking for, and he did not hesitate to go to the Petal flower shop. It was strange going to that place, without his usual delivery guy's uniform, to deliver each day's order. After reaping that routine for two weeks, he began to get used to it. However, not that day.
The bells rang as always, and Jimin was stunned to find something that took him by surprise. In front of him, but with his back to him, was the owner of the premises. Yoongi, as Taehyung had named him three days ago, was talking to his assistant, or rather, arguing with him. Jimin wasn't sure what was going on there. But what really had him standing like a stone at the entrance to the flower shop, was the blonde's deep, melodious voice. He had listened to him, in all the time he had been working in the restaurant across the street, a maximum of two sentences, of no more than two words, so hearing him speak fluently with the brown-haired guy was strange and aroused Jimin's curiosity, who I didn't understand why he didn't do it more often.
―How come they don't have a delivery guy? Are you sure you called the correct number? ―Yoongi said, oblivious to the newcomer.
―Y-Yes, y-yes...
―But this has never happened before... ―the blond continued.
―Hy-Hy-Hyung... ―Taehyung, noticing Jimin's presence, tried to warn the older man. However, Min Yoongi was with his head elsewhere.
