⇝Breaking the silence in which, the flower shop had fallen since Yoongi returned, Jimin came out from behind the counter, passing by the bloody Taehyung, to stand in front of the blonde, looking into his eyes. His voice was soft, but with intensity.
―Why did you never tell me anything about what you felt, Yoongi-ssi? ―he asked directly. ―If you knew very well that I would correspond to you... Or could it be that all the flowers were not enough? All my hints?
Min stammered, wanting to answer something, anything, knowing that the boy deserved more than silence this time. However, his attempt was interrupted, by the sound of Taehyung falling to the ground, passed out.
―Taehyungie! ―Yoongi exclaimed, widening his eyes in astonishment, running to kneel next to him, noticing the enormous loss of blood from the deep cut on his forehead.
―I-I'm going to call an ambulance ―Jimin pulled the cell phone from him, typing at full speed. ―G-Good afternoon, my friend just fainted, because he hit his head with a bucket ―he began to detail, resolving Yoongi's doubts. ―Yes, he cut his forehead and lost a lot of blood... Okay, yes... I'll give you the address... ―the delivery man did so, indicating the best way to get there, knowing the streets surrounding well.
The ambulance was not long in arriving, and in that time, Yoongi only managed to put a sterile gauze pad on his forehead, to put pressure and stop the blood, as much as he could. The people on the promenade around the flower shop, noticing what was happening, and Seokjin was no exception. However, he did not hesitate to run towards the place, seeing a certain chestnut on top of a stretcher.
―Tae-Taehyung? Jimin! What happened? ―he shook his employee's shoulders, panicking.
―He fainted from losing a lot of blood ―he clarified. ―Bu don't worry... it's a superficial cut.
―Who will accompany the patient? ―the paramedic asked, looking at the three men standing by the ambulance.
―I'll go ―Seokjin announced. ―He's my boyfriend ―he lied, getting on without waiting for anyone's approval to do so, more than worried about the boy's condition. ―Jimin, I'll give you the restaurant ―he managed to tell the black-haired ma, before the doors closed and the vehicle moved along the promenade, up to the main street.
―What a mess ―Jimin whispered, letting out a worried sigh. Then, he turned to see Yoongi, who kept his gaze lot where his friend left. ―I guess... it's better that I go ―he informed him, still hoping that the other would stop him, to finally talk to him and tell him the things he had been keeping quiet for so long.
That didn't happen, and Jimin entered the restaurant with a mixture of feelings that choked him and didn't allow him to breathe properly. Why did he have to fall in love with such a complicated man? Why did he settle for just a smile and a couple of glances? Could he keep nurturing that love just by seeing him nod now and then, or blink in his direction? What kind of relationship would that be? Park shook his head, brushing away the unruly tear that he accidentally escaped, determined to set a line. He had said and done everything in his power to make the blond see his sincere interest. he had been flirtatious, gallant and daring. He gave him his number and an innumerable amount of expensive flowers, taking into consideration the meaning of him. There was nothing left but to give Yoongi his space, so that he could make the final decision, now that all the cards have been placed on the table.
Indeed, being loyal to himself, Jimin let a few days go by. From Jin's mouth, he learned that Taehyung had been sutured and released that same afternoon, with a huge patch on his head. But he didn't get any signal from Yoongi.
―It's been three days now, Jiminie ―Seokjin told his delivery guy, noticing the black cloud that was floating over the boy's head.
―O know... I've got them counted ―he muttered, wiping his helmet with a damp cloth, buying tie until his next delivery.
―Have you thought about what will happen if he can't break his fear? ―he asked, sincerely worried about the minor.
―I can keep waiting, until he's ready ―he admitted, without a trace of hesitation. ―I just... I need to see some reaction from him... a sing that he wants to try it ―he explained. ―Because I've already shown him more than enough that I'm willing to love him with everything he drags, without pressure ―he sighed deeply, losing his gaze on the flower shop across the street.
In that place, a blonde was pulling his hair out, desperate and not knowing what to do to avoid losing Jimin. His head was abuzz with thoughts, trying to find a way to tell the black-haired boy things without dying trying.
―Y-You have to g-get out of your com-comfort zo-zone ―Taehyung encouraged him, seeing the anguish in his boss's eyes. ―L-Like you d-did the day you ga-gave him the b-bouquet for his si-sister ―he reminded him, trying to help him. ―Hy-Hyung... you're going to l-lose a g-great guy, if you don't take the ri-risk...
―It's just... ―Yoongi shook his head.
―T-Think about... o-once y-you manage to s-step out of the flo-flower shop to go f-find your be-beloved d-delivery boy... ―he teased. ―Y-Your shy-shyness will n-no longer be a p-p-problem...
―It's not that easy ―he countered.
―Nob-body said i-it would b-be ―he shrugged. ―B-But is an ex-exercise that you m-must do on y-your own, and n-no one e-else can help y-you.
