⇝The sun was taking time to enter, and Jimin cursed that the modest move to his new home was taking place under the merciless sun. he had gotten a small apartment, a little way from his university, but his trusty bike promised to get his anywhere, and for free. The important thing is that he managed to get out of the university's shared dormitory, leaving his roommate's boyfriend his bed.
For his part, Jimin aspired to be blessed with a such beautiful relationship, like the one everyone around him seemed to have, from his sister, happily married almost a year ago; his boss with Taehyung, and his former roommate with Hoseok. Only he remained, who did not lost hope that all his efforts to help Yoongi in his therapy would give good results, beyond holding hands and sharing kisses on the cheek.
He ran a hand across his forehead, wiping away the sweat that was clogging him, piling another box of books, on top of which contained some odds and ends he needed to categorize. He was tired and thirsty, he also wanted to take a shower and relax for the rest of the afternoon in Yoongi's company, but Yoongi seemed very focused on getting everything down at once, highlighting the muscles in his arms, from carrying so much weight.
―Honey, you don't need to carry them all together ―he chuckled softly. He liked to use affectionate names with Yoongi, and see his ears turn red little by little. It was also a way to create a habit, and for him to lose the shyness of intimacy between them, such as holding hands and kissing each other on the cheek, from time to time. ―Let me help you ―he offered, but Min shook his head, determined not to show weakness.
―I can ―he assured, continuing on his way, his arms resenting from the overexertion. He deposited the boxes by the door and breathed hard.
―We should take a break to rest ―he proposed, taking Yoongi by the hand and pulling him into the apartment, thus sheltering himself from the powerful rays of the sun. ―Since I don't have anything yet, I guess we'll have to make do with bottled water.
―Okay ―Yoongi said. Although he was now able to respond to Jimin's conversation, he didn't go beyond two or three words.
―Honey, do you have anything else to do this afternoon? ―he asked, handing him a bottle, with his usual smile. Yoongi shook his head, uncovering it and downing half of it in a couple of gulps. ―How about we watch a movie?
―Go to... the cinema? ―he hesitated, feeling uncomfortable in such crowded places. It was Jimin's turn to shake his head.
Then, Yoongi's nervousness grew more, because they had never shared such an intimate space alone, and his heart was beating loudly, at the possibility of sitting shoulder to shoulder, watching a movie with the love of Yoongi's life. The idea of Jimin and him kissing made his throat dry again, forcing him to finish the remaining water.
―We can put some blankets here, and watch a movie on my laptop... is that okay with you? ―illusion shone in the younger's eyes and Yoongi, as much as he wanted to avoid being alone with him, he had to accept, because he was unable to break his bubble. He nodded slowly, concluding that he was only making hasty guesses. ―Great! ―he clapped excitedly.
