Chapter 5 - I Dont like you.

You walked downstairs and saw Rouge in your kitchen and Shadow on the couch. You decided to turn on the television, bored.
"Are you feeling better, Y/N?" Rouge asked.
"I'm, alright..." You smiled. You walked up to Rouge, wanting to speak to her, "Rouge, Shadow hasn't spoken to me ever since I woke up, is everything chill?" You wondered.
"Oh, he's alright, he's just...well," Rouge scratched her chin as she sat a pot down, "He doesn't like being bothered," Rouge shrugged, she didn't know either.
"Alright, that's okay?... Anyway what ya cookin?" You saw the pot she had, it had noodles inside.
"Ramen," Rouge sat the pot on the stove.
"That's cool, I can't believe you're actually at my house, cooking," you said, leaning on the counter.
"Oh, I can do a lot more at your house, hun," Rouge stopped, "Never mind that didn't come out right, just sit down and watch tv sugar, till I'm done." Rouge smiled. You walked away from the kitchen, and into your living room. Shadow was just sitting there. You sat next to him. All he did was move back, away from you.
"Shadow," You glared.
"Y/N." He said, in his dark tone, not even looking at you.
"What did I do? Why are you...being so weird," You asked.
"I don't know," he crossed his arms.
"You're acting...like a...a....I don't know, you aren't acting yourself." You said.
"I'm not acting myself? You didn't even talk to me, you didn't thank me either," Shadow tapped his foot.
"Are you literally talking about when I woke up," You looked at him as if he was dumb.
"Yes, and watch your tone." Shadow growled. He was starting to act like you just met again, you decided to stand up and walk away, until he stopped you. "Where the hell are you going," Shadow stood up.
"In my room. You clearly aren't in the mood for me right now," you answered.
"Leave then, I don't want you here," Shadow said. Your eyes widened, turning back at him, you were actually shocked. You lifted the hand (paw/claw/feather) he had kissed you on.
"I wish you never kissed me," you growled.
"I never did, I was teasing you because I know how much of a dork you are, you clearly like me, Y/N, and it's weird. I don't like you," Shadow blurted out.
"You don't like me? Who told you I liked you? You bitch, I fucking hate you, get out my house, I don't want my parents coming in, seeing you," you fought back.
"Is that how you truly feel, Y/N?" Shadow was clearly pissed.
"Do you mean what you said," you balled your fists. Shadow shook his head, obviously he didn't mean it.
"Get. Out," you stomped towards him, but that was a huge mistake. He snatched you by your collar and pulled you so close you could barely feel his lips.
"I'm not leaving," Shadow said, "So stop trying to make me," Shadow did not let go of you.
"Just kiss already," Rouge came in. Shadow looked up at rouge, but he still held you.
"I would rather die," Shadow grunted. Yeah, you were still in pain by the way, not everywhere but in your legs. You decided to get dramatic and fall on the couch, making shadow fall onto you. You both blushed, Rouge went back into the kitchen, still peaking. "Don't you think about it," Shadow growled. You pulled Shadow closer. Shadow did not want to lean in, he was too scared. But you, you wanted this, but you were hesitant. As you leaned in, you aimed for his lips, but got scared and switched it into a hug.
"Mmhmm....Y/N," Shadow mumbled, hoping you didn't hear, but you did.
"I heard that," You kept hugging him.
"Unhand me this instant..." Shadow was getting comfortable, which made him want to move. Shadow stood up before you could react, sitting back on the couch. You sighed in sadness and just laid down on the couch.
Shadow glared at you, smiling. He pulled you into a hug, thinking you were asleep, but you were just acting.
"I love you, idiot." Shadow whispered. You almost opened you eyes in shock but you had to stay sleep. You were shaking nervously though, Shadow gave you a quick peck on the cheek and let you 'sleep'.

Later, it was dark, you woke up from the nap, surprisingly Shadow was still holding you. You smiled. Shadow was also on his phone, so he didn't know you were awake. You moved a little causing him to shut his phone off, he paid attention to you. You slowly looked up at him, smiling. He smiled back. You raised you hands slowly, then putting your hand on shadows chest. You patted him, his chest fur looked pretty. And it was, it was also pretty fluffy. Shadow put on a dorky smile and was a blushing mess. He started to purr, getting embarrassed. He then lifted his hand and laid in on top of yours.
"Do...you still hate me," Shadow asked, his voice was light.
"Of course not," you wanted to tell him you loved him, but you were nervous.
"Rouge left," Shadow said.
"And left us here alone? Oh no, Shadow im sorry," You sat up immediately, making Shadow instantly pull you down, cupping your face.
"I like it this way," Shadow smirked.

You plan a sleepover to get to know your friends better, you and shad start getting weird around each other, you know something he doesn't (aka when he said he loves you he thought you were sleep). But it's gonna be real good at that sleepover ofc ‼️
