Chapter 6 - Sleepover

You were outside, waiting for your bus. Your mind was stuck on what happened yesterday, you never thought you and Shadow would be...Cuddling. The way he said "I love you", maybe he was joking. I mean it's Shadow, not some seriously hot, goth boy that's serious about everything, right? No. that's exactly him.

Suddenly your bus pulled up and you got in. You realized that it was finally a Friday and your parents were out for the weekend, but there was a problem, you had only 4 friends, one of them being a child. You, Amy and Sonic were definitely not talking to each other anytime soon, then your brother is also going to be at home. Maybe Tails could play with your brother, win win. Maybe you and Knuckles could be friends.

You finally reached the front of the school, getting off the bus. You saw Rouge by the entrance with Knuckles, Blaze and Shadow. You were nervous to walk near Shadow after what happened yesterday. Once you approached them they all smiled, besides Knuckles.
"Hey Y/N," Rouge waved. You hesitantly waved back. Shadow was looking at you, you tried your hardest not to look back. You shook your head, making sure you aren't crazy.
"Uh, guys, I'm having a sleepover," You said.
"Oh, that's cool," Blaze responded.
"You're all invited," You smiled.
"Oh, thanks Y/N," Blaze went on her phone .
"I'll be there," Rouge replied. Knuckles just glared at you, he was thinking about wether he should go or not. Knuckles nodded and headed into the school, Rouge followed. Blaze waved then left. It was just you and Shadow, again.
"Am I invited?" Shadow walked up to you.
"Today..? Oh, tonight! Um, yesterday, I mean! Yes, of course," you smiled.
"Yesterday? Oh right, about yesterday, it was nothing personal I jus-" Shadow stopped as you ran away. "-t wanted to say sorry," Shadow continued.

You finally entered your cooking class, you had Rouge, Tails and Shadow in that class. Why is Shadow everywhere? Anyway, you were cooking anything you wanted, so you were baking cookies. Shadow started walking up to you.
"Hey, Y/N," Shadow tapped your shoulder.
"Shadow! Hi," You turned around, leaning on the counter, you were blushing intensely.
"Are you alright?" He asked, but you remembered his words, "I love you". Your eyes widened.
"You do?" You covered your mouth.
"I...What?" Shadow was confused.
"You...are you serious?" You were sweating.
"Y/N?" Shadow put his hand on your forehead. Out of nowhere you fainted.

You woke up, in the nurse's office, you saw Shadow by your side. You smiled.
"Hi, Shadow," You stretched out.
"Hey, Y/N, are you feeling okay?" Shadow wondered.
"I'm alright...what time is it?" You asked.
"It's..4:30," Shadow said, "Schools out, everyone is getting ready for the sleepover, Sonic and Amy...are too," Shadow held your hand, trying to calm you down before you went crazy.
"They..are?" You balled both your fists up, making shadow pull his hand away.
"Calm down, let me...carry you home and help you get ready." Shadow said, picking you up. You started blushing like crazy, your muzzle (or beak) was the same color as Knuckles at this point. You slowly put your hand on shadows fur, you smiled.
"Y/N, I haven't even started moving yet," Shadow smirked. You suddenly opened your eyes and let your hand down.
"I know, I know," Shadows heart started to beat faster, he was turning the same color as Knuckles as well.

You were in your room, setting up your LED lights to (F/C). Shadow was downstairs making pizza. It was nearly 6:00, so your friends should be there any minute. You were in your favorite pajamas. Suddenly, someone knocked at your door, you went downstairs to open it. Your brother was outside.
"Grandma just dropped me off," your brother came in. You knew it was a bad time.
"Who's that!" Your brother pointed towards shadow.
"Nobody!" You grabbed your brother.
"Hey you!" Your brother shouted at Shadow making him turn around.
"Oh my- Shut up idiot!" You covered your brothers mouth.
Shadow walked towards your brother.
"Are you her boyfriend?" Your brother pulled your hand away from his mouth.
Shadow glanced at you, smirking, then glared back at the kid.
"Yeah, and?" Shadow chuckled, you started blushing.
"She isn't allowed to have one," your brother stood up to him.
"Is that's so? Oh well, she's all mine, your parents can kick rocks," Shadow crossed his arms. Your brother growled at Shadow, then ran upstairs. You walked up to shadow.
"Never...do that again," you smiled.
Rouge walked in with Knuckles, Blaze, Tails, Amy and Sonic out of nowhere.
"Oh!" You instantly turned around.
"Hi y'all, sorry to ruin your romantic moment," Rouge laughed, the others did too.
"Oh it's nothing, Y/N was just...trying to flatter me," Shadow smirked.
The others came in, they were all in pajamas.
"That's cute," Knuckles said sarcastically.
"How about we just go up to my room," You suggested.

Everyone was upstairs in your room, your brother and Tails were playing in the corner of your room. You all were watching (F/S/M). You and Rouge were laying on your bed, Knuckles and Blaze sitting on beanbags, Sonic and Amy were cuddling on the floor, Shadow was at the foot of your bed.
"Hey, Y/N I'll be right back," Rouge said, walking towards the bathroom.

(TIME SKIP)

It was 2am, everyone was either asleep, or nearly asleep, besides you and Shadow. Again. You were laying down, laying next to Rouge. All of a sudden Shadow crawled towards you.
"Y/N, you awake?" Shadow whispered. You tried ignoring him, by turning around smiling. "Silly, I know your awake," Shadow chuckled under his breath. You turned back around.
"Yeah, I am, what's up," you whispered.
"Nothing, I guess, I'm just...not sleepy I guess," Shadow shrugged.
"I can't sleep, I'm busted though." You sighed. Shadow got closer.
"Remember how...you...ugh..this is going to sound weird," Shadow grabbed your hand. He put it against his fur. You slowly started rubbing it, he started purring and blushing.
"Is this what you wanted, really," You smirked. Shadow sighed of relief. Oh. Wait..no that wasn't a sigh.
"Shadow, did you just moan," You looked at Shadow. He instantly pulled your hand away from his chest.
"No, it was a sigh of relief," Shadow looked away. You nodded, closing your eyes. "Y/N don't fall asleep..." Shadow laid his hand on your cheek. You opened your eyes again. "Y/N," Shadow paused. "Is there anything you have to tell me," Shadow asked. You remembered the "I love you" again. You thought about telling him. You though it wasn't such a bad idea, only because you were half asleep.
"Yeah, remember us cuddling, I was asleep?" You said.
"Yeah...I wanted to tell you I..." Shadow sweated.
"You told me you loved me," you blurted out.
"He told you what," Someone interrupted you. You both saw Rouge, her jaw was dropped, she then fainted.
"That was random," you both said in sync.
"Yeah," Shadow blushed. "I did tell you that, but how'd you know?" Shadow asked.
" I wasn't asleep," you giggled. Shadow pulled you closer, making you nearly fall out of bed. You blushed a lot. Shadow cupped your face. He leaned in close, you felt him breathing, you felt him, he was warm and fuzzy. You hoped nobody would bother the two of you. He suddenly stood up, making you get on your knees, he still had your face in his warm hands.
"You don't mind if I..." Shadow asked.
"Do it," you whispered. Your eyes closed, his eyes closed, then all of a sudden you felt something against your lips, Shadow had finally kissed you. He let out a soft sigh. You opened your eyes in shock. He looked at you, blushing more. He then pressed his lips against yours again, the kiss was passionate and deep, he obviously meant he loved you. He licked your lips. And let your face go.
"Shadow, I...I love you," you whispered. Shadow gave your neck a kiss, and your cheek.
"I love you too," Shadow smiled. He laid you back down, under your blanket. "Go to sleep, my dear," Shadow kissed your forehead. He laid down on the floor as you slowly fell sleep.
