{ . . . }

"Oh. There you are, (N/n)! I was looking for you! Thank you, Alastor, for finding them." The melodic voice of my 'sister' rang through the lobby, and I looked up from my device.

Now that I'm actually paying attention, Nifty has worked her tush off to turn this hotel into a runway walk. Fresh, bright red carpet covered the floor, and the walls shined a black and gold trim, adding an almost enchanting glow to the space. Everything was well dusted, and I couldn't help but feel a slight tinge of pride.

"Well goddamn. My eyes have been blessed."

"As have mine." I jumped, having forgotten that the living twizzler was standing right beside me, the abnormal smile on his face becoming crooked as he glanced down at me. I gave him a 'wtf' look. "Never say that again." "Why not? I was merely agreeing with you." I narrowed my eyes suspiciously, but brushed it off.

Angel, whom of which was sitting on a bar stool and previously flirting with the poor winged, drunk cat, refluffed his chest. "Its cause'a me isn't it, hot stuff."

Everyone but Angel and I deadpanned, while Angel showed a proud grin and I shook my head with a small smile.

A small glimmer caught the corner of my eye and I looked over to the other side of the lobby.

It was at this moment I spotted the new sinner.

Oh for fucks sake.

Charlie followed my view and sweatdropped as a growl reverberated from my chest. "Uh- thats the new potential guest... I'm sure Al told you. I don't think I can deal with him though. Since you are, well, not interested in that kind of thing, I was hoping you could handle him?" At this point, she was blushing madly, for whatever reason, I wasn't sure of. What kind of thing is she even talking about?? "O-okay?" I hesitantly inched my way over to the other part of the lobby.

(To give you some reference, the elevators are kinda off to the side in a smaller space that just has a doorway linking it to the actual main lobby part. Mystery guy can't see them, and (Y/n) can hardly see him from around the corner.)

He was leaning against the table at the check in desk, and I walked over behind the counter as his eyes followed my movements.

He inclined his head. We made eye contact, and immediately I realized what this guy was. I also realized why Charlie needed me to deal with him in the first place, instead of doing it herself.

A smirk formed on his face at my slowly lowered ears and anxiously twitching tail.

" Hello there, sunshine." He spoke in an accent i couldnt guess, and his voice was practically hypnotizing. I nodded, and looked down at the computer, ignoring the fact that he had now leaned forward in interest-or perhaps to get closer, who fucking knows. "You know...my friends told me that this was the place to get 'redeemed', but from all of the...temptations I'm seeing, I'm starting to think they were wrong~" He leaned a bit closer, and I glanced up at him.

As I looked into his eyes, they shined a bright pink and I scowled. "Im not one to 'beat around the bush', so ill come out and say it. How would you like to have a little one on one time? Although it comes for a price~" He purred out, showing off his sharp, white canines. It wasn't hard to understand the undertone of that comment, and I had to resist the urge to gag.

"Eh, riiiight...but uh, no- no thank you." My breathing became unsteady, not for the reason you'd think though. It's not like the power effects me or anything, but this personal confrontation with someone I've never met before is extremely uncomfortable.

Goddamn motherfucking incu-bitches.

Before I could utter another word though, the air became clear once again, and I took a large breath of air I didn't realize I had forgotten to take in while monologuing in my head.

I noticed the incu-bitch backing away in a hiss as their eyes changed colors rapidly out of fear.

There was also a shadow looming over me.

...

Wait- shadow??

Whom the fucketh-?

I looked up, and was met with a full-demon transformation of a wild Alastor who looked like someone had just insulted his mother's cooking.

His grin ran sinister with something else completely, shadows wrapping around him till he was a mere cloudy shadow himself, and only his red eyes and white teeth were visible.

A short, uncontrollable whimper left my mouth as my eyes grew in size. Holy shit this guy is scary as fuck. Why did Charlie agree to work with him again??

I composed myself quickly, shaking my head to rid myself of any haunting thoughts that would alter my sleep schedule.

As I tried to ignore the looming, angry presence behind me, I couldnt help the slight shake in my voice, forcing a wide smile that was practiced, "We have a form that you can fill out if you would like to s-sign into the Happy Hotel. Once you do, you will be given a room key, and a m-map to locate your room, as well as the main rooms, such as: The Lobby, Kitchen, D-dining Room, swimming pool, and our complimentary bar. Please enjoy your stay, and may the angels guide your way to heaven." All of this I said with a (nervous) smile, my canines showing.

Dark, clawed hands were placed on either side of my shoulders from behind, and the new sinner gulped, an uncomfortable glance up at the radio demon before shooting a nod at me. They grabbed the paper on a clip board and a pen from our cup and walked off to a seat in our lobby.

The weight on my shoulders left abruptly, and as I turned around to thank the usually self-centered demon, he was gone, as if there was no one around in the first place.

Holy shit I think I'm about to pass tf out.
