{. . .}

It's been a few weeks now.

Things have been a bit....chaotic? I'm surprised that Pentagram City hasnt been leveled to the ground with how many explosions go off on the daily. Lucifer usually keeps most demons under his rule under control, but places outside of the 'capitol' aren't as heavily watched, so shit can go down south really fucking quickly.

There's been quite a few turf wars happening lately too. Some pretty close to the hotel. Had to break one up between a bull demon and a wendigo when I was at the market last Saturday.

On another side note, Loona has told me there's been a lot of shit happening in Imp City for the I.M.P.s organization.

I was currently on the phone with Loona at this very moment.

'-and you know what makes it worse? He made a big scene over VEROSIKA MAYDAY taking his shitty parking spot, and then I found out that that motherfucker dated Verosika! And he fucking embarrassed me!! In front of her.'

"Holy shit, they dated? Did she have brain damage? Did he, like, run her over with a pony or some shit, or-?"

'Ugh, you sound like Moxxie. He acts like a little bitch, with a stick up his ass.

There was then muted yelling in the background, followed by Loona's own yelling and snarling.

A pause followed.

Sorry about that. This entire shithole is full of assholes. Anyways, then to top it all off, I met this cute hellhound there, and then Blizø embarrassed me. Again.'

"Awww, Loona met a cute one, huh? What's their name?"

'Shut. And his name is Vortex.'

"Wow. The fuck were his parents thinking?"

'I don't know. But he works as Verosika's bodyguard, and he's jacked.'

I chuckled, speaking sarcastically, "He sounds exactly your type, Loons."

'Ugh, I hate you. I'm not even interested in him like that.'

"Sure you're not, and love you too, Loonie Toonie."

'I swear Y/n, as your friend, I will come through this phone and beat your sorry ass. I already have three assholes to deal with on the regular, plus the imp couple is sickeningly sweet to each other to the point it makes me want to shoot my fucking brains out.'

I sat on the couch in the lobby, my tail flicking back and forth in amusement, no one else to be found in the hotel.

It had become a regular thing now, the emptiness, besides the occasional customer who would check in for a few days only to leave when there was lack of progress in their rehabilitation. Which is exactly what had happened with that one incubus guy. Or at least I think so. Al told me he checked the demon out of the system, and I haven't seen him around, so I assume he left.
