What Did I Do?

My eyes begin to open to something looming. I sit up, rubbing my eyes trying to get my eyesight back to normal. I look up to see I'm surrounded by the four giants, in the middle I see Kateri. "Heya Ace." She smiles.

"Kateri? What's going on?" I scratch the back of my head. "Did I do something wrong?"

"No, you're fine Ace," I look over at the giants still looming in silence, they were all in their armor, it was already hard to tell what they were feeling before, but now with the armor, I can't tell at all. I see Thuah'Ka on my left waving his tail back and forth so softly.

"Are you alright Ace?" Thuah'ka says placing his hand on mine, it was so warm. 

"Yeah I'm fine, my nose feels sore-" I feel my nose, I feel a little bump on it.

"That will happen when you get punched in the nose." Kateri laughs, I try to get out of bed.

"Seriously, what's going on?" I get stopped by Ma'stba, I look up at him, his mask was so detailed, I kind of want to draw it. 

"Don't move," Ma'stba says pushing me back up on the bed. "You need to stay in bed." I look down at his hand, it was also warm, I looked over at his robot hand, that's so cool, then I see my clothes were still in my- training outfit...

"I remember now, we were training an- and, it went on for hours, then-"

"Then you got yourself punched in the face," Ca'Ytou says, Gu'Kath looked over at him, they both looked at each other as if they were speaking with one another, I couldn't tell what about though.

"Right... Hehe..." I chuckle dryly looking down. 

"No Ace," Gu'Kath says leaning over to me. "You did well, you took down Kateri by fooling her with an injury." 

"Uh yeah, I did." 

"Maybe next time try not to get yourself hurt," Kateri says smiling. "But overall you did well." 

"Thanks," I smile back, "When can we go back?"

"What?" Thuah'Ka looks at me, I look at him. 

"When can I start training again? I want to go back." 

"Dang girl, chillax." Kateri laughs. "Glad you got the energy for more but you need to lay back for a minute." 

"I want to get better."

"You're already really good Ace-" 

"Just let me do it." I can tell my voice was raised when I said that, I didn't mean it to it just- did. Kateri goes quiet, I clear my throat. "When can I go back?"

"Now." I look to Thuah'Ka. "But this time," He gets closer to my ear. "You're going against me." I paused, against him? He's huge, if I thought Kateri was hard then I'm about to get my ass kicked. I gulp down the air in my throat. 

"Alright, let's do it." 

"Not now," Ca'Ytou says, "we must eat first."

"Oh, alright." They finally let me get out of bed, I stand next to Kateri as we get walked out by the giants. I look over at Kateri as she walked as if she were a soldier. Then I looked at the giants who surrounded us again. "Do they always have to do this?" I whispered to Kateri.

"Yeah, it's kinda their thing." She whispers back. 

"Where're your- mates?" I ask still whispering, I haven't seen them since I woke up.

"They are off on our ship getting everything together." 

"Oh, you're leaving?" I was a bit upset by this.
