Thuah'Ka's View
I slowly moved toward the flustered ooman, excited but under control. The Brave One looks up and takes a step back, the scent of fear grows a tab stronger. I tried to step toward her again but she kept going backward, both of the scents grow stronger each time she steps. She slowly started getting smaller, I was a bit puzzled until I realized she was sinking, each time she stepped back, she stepped into deeper water. Soon it was up to her neck, she was stretched out her head, trying to keep above water. When I realized that she couldn't swim she was already fully under. I rushed over, fast enough to grab her but slow enough to not panic my brothers. I pulled her out, she coughed up water, and around her eyes grew a light red. She wiped at her mouth and looked up with somewhat open eyes.
Ace's View
'Shit! What was I thinking!? I know I can't swim, so why did I back away so far!?' I opened my eyes to see a scarred chest, I looked up to somewhat see the grey giant, 'he- saved me?' I look up at his hand holding onto my arm. I look back at him, we stare into each other's eyes, they look so gentle. 'What?! Ugh! Stop thinking about it!!' Suddenly he pulls me up more, then to his chest. I yelp as he places his hand under me, onto my butt. I looked up at him again. A low sound came from his chest, a purr. Like a cat purr? I couldn't read his face, I didn't know what he wanted. He used his other hand to bring my face closer, purring louder. I got so close I could see all his hidden scars. I wouldn't close my eyes, but I really wanted to. Suddenly a beeping noise started going off.
Thuah'Ka's View
I turned my head around to see my mask going off. I placed the ooman over on the edge of the pool then went over to my helmet. My brothers already got out, getting dried off and dressed. "They are coming to visit," Ma'stba says.
"I know, we need to get the human ready," I say rushing to get dried and get my armor on. They all nod except Ca'Ytou.
"Of course, they head over here when we are in the middle of something with the ooman." Ca'Ytou grunted angrily, he wanted to finish what we had started.
"Calm brother, we can bond with her more when we learn more about her, maybe Kateri can help her trust us more quickly."
"Fine." he grumbles, "I'll go get her dressed." We all nod, then I and my other two brothers head out to ready the ship for their arrival.
Ace's View
I sat there stunned. Uncertain what had just happened. I feel a tap on my shoulder, breaking my train of thought, I look up to see the short giant looming over me. He leads me over to my clothes, gives me a towel, and urges me to get dressed. I start to pull up my pants, and as I do this, I start to question everything again.
'Geez, these aliens are strange. One minute we are staring into each other's eyes then the next minute he's out the door. What did he want anyway? Was he perverted or just trying to be nice in his own alien way? And what was the beeping sound?-' I feel another tap, the short one stood over me, waiting. he seemed to be in a rush so I put on my shirt and followed him out the door. I was surprised he didn't want to carry me, they usually carry me around. He lead me down another hallway that looked like every other hallway. He walk into another room, this room was lit like the pool room. It had a long, huge dining table of a sort, with strange heads of creatures I'd never seen before, surrounding it. He leads me to a chair, it was up to my head in height. I looked over at the short one, with a look telling him 'Really?' He seemed to recognize the look because he picked me up, sat down, then placed me on his lap. I was a bit shaken by this but then became uncomfortable instead. I didn't like sitting in an alien's lap, or really anything to do with the alien. I hear noise coming from the door, and the three giants come in, carrying food, Green and Robo-Arm placed the food onto the table in front of me and each seat. I look back at the door, the grey one was waiting by it, looking out into the hallway. 'What's he doing?' I try to get a better look into the hallway but the giant kept me in place. I get a little pissed, I wanted to know what was going on.
More clicking came from the door, I stare in complete shock. Three more giants walk in, and all look terrifying. I catch a glimpse of something behind them, it was a human 'wait, A HUMAN?!' I almost fell out of the chair, it was a human. She didn't seem to be a regular human, she wore armor like the giants, and had scars on her arms and face. I could feel the smile grow on my face, I wasn't alone anymore, and I didn't bother to ask why she was there. Everyone took their seats, the human sat straight across from me, she smiled when we met eye to eye. I smile back, forgetting about the terrifying giants and uncomfortable seat. Suddenly the giant under me places something on my ear, I panic for a second but I was still too happy. I feel it, it's some sort of device. Suddenly it made a noise, startling me. A long beeping noise went through my ear, then stopped. I was confused for a second until I hear a laugh everyone looks over at the human in front of me. "I'm sorry but your face was just priceless." She laughed.
"Oh, was it really that dumb?" I chuckled.
"Oh don't worry about it, I did the same thing when I first got mine put on." She showed me it on her left ear.
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's a translator, it's to help you understand what these guys got to say." She pointed to the giants sitting next to her. Now that I know she can speak English, I thought it would be a good idea to try to get some answers out of her.
"Why am I here?" A minute of silence between us as the giants just stared, some removed their masks to start eating.
"You've been chosen, you've shown worth and strength," she explains. "Once you have killed the Wise One, you would be chosen to be trained by the Yautja Warriors, to become one of them."
"Yautja Warriors?"
"Yes, that's what these big guys are. They are hunters, hunting the strongest species to prove their worth."
"But- I- I don't understand, what's so great about me?"
"As I said, you are brave and strong. You have been chosen to be a warrior." She smiles.
"I think you guys got me all wrong, I'm not THAT strong, and brave? I think you thinking of someone else." I rub my neck nervously.
"I promise you Brave One, you are strong and brave, I have seen what you can do and it has surprised me and my brothers." The grey one speaks up.
"Wait- I can understand you?"
"Yes, the translator seems to have kicked in. My name is Thuah'Ka, the leader and oldest of this clan."
"I am Ma'stba, it's nice to finally speak to you." I was surprised by their voices, they were nothing like how I expected.
"I am Gu'Kath." The green one excitedly said.
"Ca'Ytou." The short one spoke from behind me, he didn't seem very pleased.
"And I am Kateri the human Yautja warrior of A'sa's clan." The human spoke. "And these are my mates, Gudih, Da'jou, and A'sa." She pointed to each one and each greeted me. "What's your name?" A'sa asked.
"I'm- Ace."
