(Time Skip, in training room.)
Ace's View
I had gotten back into my new outfit for training and walked out onto the sand, I looked over to see Thuah'Ka standing there, waiting. I gulped as I walked up to him, after having time to think about this, I started to become a little nervous. I looked up at him, he was so- big, so tall, so- intimidating. I felt like I made a mistake challenging him. I sighed as I backed up and got into my fighting stance, I couldn't back down now, not like this, I will just- use a little tactic I somewhat remember from my father's teaching as a child that just might work. "Let's get this over with."
Thuah'Ka's View
I looked down at the Brave One, her voice was deeper when she spoke, her scent changed once more, like before but- quicker. I got a little excited by this, I wanted to see her strength against me, I wanted to see her try her hardest to beat me, I wanted to feel her against me... I wanted this... I glanced over at the others who were watching, Kateri seemed a bit concerned, which was understandable, the Brave One did not have much training and she was already going against me. The A'sa Clan just watched, A'sa had a bit of a smug look, as if he knew I was enjoying this in other ways than fighting, I then finally looked at my clan, they seemed serious, but also- a bit jealous, I sneered as I looked back at the small, but dangerous Ace. "Fine by me~" I got into my stance as I watched her intensely.
Ace's View
I gulped as I heard his voice once more, it was so- deep, and quite scary in a way, he was still a murdering alien to me, I couldn't forget that. I stood there just staring at him for a minute, we both glared at each other, not letting blinking stop us from each other's gaze. I began to slowly move to the right, which caused him to move left, we started to circle, not removing eye contact, I had somewhat of a plan in mind, I just needed him- to strike first.
Gu'Kath's View
This seemed interesting already, they were circling like vultures, the eye contact was so- intense. I crossed my arms, wishing deep down I could have gone against her first, Thuah'Ka was the leader but also one of the strongest, why put her against the strongest first? I grunted slightly under my breath, I would have been a better oppenent to go against at this point in training. I looked back to see Thuah'Ka go for the first strike, which surprised me, Thuah'Ka didn't usaully go for offensive first, maybe he thought he was going to win rather quickly, oh boy was he wrong. The ooman immediately dodged it and backed up, he went in again, she dodged again but a bit quicker this time. He then backed up and took in the scene, figuring out his next move, he then went in once more but faster as he tried to throw a few hits then catch her off guard with a surprise hit. She dodged the first few but then blocked the final one, it knocked her back a bit, she grunted as she looked back up at Thuah'Ka, who came at her again, trying to finish her off. She seemed a bit shocked at the speed but kept up the dodged, getting around him but never taking the chances to hit him. What was she doing? I thought staring her down.
Kateri's View
I watched the fight with intensity and a bit of- nervousness. I liked the idea at first but watching it now make me rethink it, I watched Ace continuely dodge and block a few more hits, she seemed to be avoiding him in a way. Thuah'Ka was continuely attacking, catching her off guard, he definately had the strength advantage, but for speed? It seemed to go to Ace. Ace ran around and stopped to try and dodge some more hits, he came up and threw a punch, she dodged but then he threw a second hit that got her arm, I grunted as I watched the hit, I could feel her pain by just watching. She grunted also as she backed up but Thuah'Ka followed, he was pushing her to her limits, he wanted- more.
A'sa's View
I could feel the nervousness come off Kateri, I put my arm around her as we watched, I could see Thuah'Ka going off on her, enough to push Ace to her edge. Ace tried to avoid another hit from Thuah'Ka but this time he hit her in the stomach, causing her to fall back onto her bottom, almost onto her back, he came up to her slowly and kneeled down in front of her as she was breathing hard, holding her stomach. She looked up at him, I looked to Thuah'Ka, wondering what he was doing. He then spoke. "Come on now, get up, I want to see more. This isn't all you can do... We both know that... You haven't even hit me yet..." He had a taunting tone to it, he was trying to rile her up like Kateri did, Ace's glare turned a bit more- angry, but then she smirked.
"Of course, anything for you." She then threw sand into his eyes. He grunted in pain as he fell back slightly, covering his eyes, that was- unexpected... She then stood up quickly and rushed over behind him to trip him up. And it worked, he tripped over her foot as he trembled back from the hit, he then landed onto his back it made a loud thud, causing sand around him to disperse and the room to slightly shake, it was quite the fall. A trill of confusion and discomfort came from his as he laid there in the sand, Ace then kneeled down to his face. "Was that good enough for you?" She gave a cheeky and sly smile, she did it, she got him down, she- won once more... We all came over to her and Thuah'Ka, I grabbed Thuah'Ka's arm and helped him up as Kateri ran over and hugged Ace, congradulating her.
Ace's View
I was still a bit shocked, my plan actually worked, to use Thuah'Ka's size and strength against him. I grinned happliy as I got Kateri and my clan members coming over and congradulating me, Ma'stba gave me a pat on the back with his robo arm, Gu'Kath gave me a big bear hug and Ca'Tyou just nodded at me, but that was enough from him to make me feel good. I smiled, but then looked to Thuah'Ka who was finally up, he was scrubbing his eyes and holding his head, Gudih then patted him on the back, straightening him up. He then looked up at me, I gulped as everyone moved out of the way for him to walk toward me, he stopped in front of me, only a few inches away. I looked up at him into his yellow deep eyes that were irritated for sure, trying to look calm but really I was tense with the thought of not knowing how he felt about me winning. He them sighed and put his hand on my shoulder, giving me what I guess was a smile? "You did well Ace, I underestimated you. I- am proud of you." I blushed slightly at this, he seemed so- chill about this, I then gave him a calm smile.
"Well you were tough that's for sure." I chuckled slightly. "I hope we can do this again soon." He gave a soft chuckle taking his hand off my shoulder.
"Don't worry, we will-" He was then interrupted by Gu'Kath coming up behind me and putting his hands on my shoulders.
"Not yet you aren't, I'm going against her next." He said promptly, with confidence in his voice as he held me. I then looked over to see Ca'Ytou come up to us.
"Why you?" He asked. "I should go next against her." He then grabbed my arm, glaring at Gu'Kath. Then Ma'stba joined in.
"All of you calm down, I will settle this-" He shrugged. "I'll just go against her next." He acted as if he just gave them the absolute solution.
"Tch, as if, you aren't the one that settles things like this Ma'stba, I am." Thuah'Ka glared at him. "And I'll chose who goes next."
"You'll just chose yourself." Ca'Tyou rolled his eyes, they were all glaring at each other now, as I just stood in the middle, confused and silent. I looked past them all to see Kateri and her clan all giggling and snickering to themselves as they watched this unfold from the back. I chuckled slightly too under my breath, looking up at all the giants surrounding me. This- this moment somehow made me like it here- even more in a- weird homey way... Home... That's right, that's what this is now.... My new home...
Yeah- I'll be able to get used to this just fine...
